That album was compiled by Epstein\u2019s friend,\u00a0Ghislaine Maxwell, who is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence for child trafficking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cPages from the leather-bound album\u2014assembled before Epstein was first arrested in 2006\u2014are among the documents examined by Justice Department officials who investigated Epstein and Maxwell years ago, according to people who have reviewed the pages,\u201d the publication stated. \u201cIt\u2019s unclear if any of the pages are part of the Trump administration\u2019s recent review.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of those well-wishers was Trump, who sent Epstein a birthday letter that contained a drawing of a nude woman:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>The letter bearing Trump\u2019s name, which was reviewed by the Journal, is bawdy\u2014like others in the album. It contains several lines of typewritten text framed by the outline of a naked woman, which appears to be hand-drawn with a heavy marker. A pair of small arcs denotes the woman\u2019s breasts, and the future president\u2019s signature is a squiggly \u201cDonald\u201d below her waist, mimicking pubic hair.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The letter concludes: \u201cHappy Birthday \u2014 and may every day be another wonderful secret.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>The message also contained an imaginary dialogue between Trump and Epstein:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cVoice Over: There must be more to life than having everything,\u201d the note began.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Donald: Yes, there is, but I won\u2019t tell you what it is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jeffrey: Nor will I, since I also know what it is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Donald: We have certain things in common, Jeffrey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jeffrey: Yes, we do, come to think of it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Donald: Enigmas never age, have you noticed that?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jeffrey: As a matter of fact, it was clear to me the last time I saw you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Trump: A pal is a wonderful thing. The memo also found no evidence to suggest foul play in Epstein\u2019s death, which had previously been ruled a suicide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The memo spurred fierce backlash from many Trump supporters, who had long called on the government to release material on Epstein that they argue would expose wrongdoing at the highest level of elite circles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Trump has brushed aside calls to reveal more information about the Epstein case and has shown increasing frustration when asked about it over the past week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cYou mentioned past supporters when you were talking about the Epstein issue.
