On Monday, President\u00a0Donald Trump\u00a0vowed to \u201clead a movement\u201d to eliminate mail-in ballots and would sign an executive order to \u201chelp bring HONESTY to the 2026 Midterm Elections.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Trump’s latest push to abolish voting machines and mail-in voting comes days after telling Fox News that he\u2019d received a warning from Russian President\u00a0Vladimir Putin\u00a0during their Alaska summit that the practice makes \u201chonest elections\u201d impossible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He\u00a0told<\/a>\u00a0Fox News\u2019\u00a0Sean Hannity\u00a0on Friday: \u201cVladimir Putin, smart guy, said you can\u2019t have an honest election with mail-in voting.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n Taking to Truth Social just hours before\u00a0a follow-up meeting\u00a0with Ukrainian President\u00a0Volodymyr Zelensky\u00a0and top European leaders, Trump raged that the voting methods allowed Democrats to \u201cCHEAT AT LEVELS NEVER SEEN\u201d and promised to \u201cbring HONESTY\u201d to the 2026 midterms as he\u00a0outlined<\/a>\u00a0his new plans:<\/p>\n\n\n\n I am going to lead a movement to get rid of MAIL-IN BALLOTS, and also, while we\u2019re at it, Highly \u201cInaccurate,\u201d Very Expensive, and Seriously Controversial VOTING MACHINES, which cost Ten Times more than accurate and sophisticated Watermark Paper, which is faster, and leaves NO DOUBT, at the end of the evening, as to who WON, and who LOST, the Election. We are now the only Country in the World that uses Mail-In Voting. All others gave it up because of the MASSIVE VOTER FRAUD ENCOUNTERED.
