Regarding this new strike, Trump described the strike as targeting \u201cpositively identified, extraordinarily violent drug trafficking cartels and narcoterrorists in the SOUTHCOM<\/a> area of responsibility,\u201d the U.S. Southern Command responsible for the command and control of American military forces in the Caribbean, Central America, and South America.<\/p>\n\n\n\n According to Trump, the boat was traveling from Venezuela to the U.S., in international waters, was \u201ctransporting illegal narcotics,\u201d and three male \u201cterrorists\u201d were killed in the strike.
