On Thursday, a three-judge panel from the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit revived Trump\u2019s bid to move the case out of New York state court and into federal court\u2014where he plans to argue that the Supreme Court\u2019s recent ruling on presidential immunity shields him from prosecution for actions connected to his time in office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The appeals panel said it \u201ccannot be confident\u201d that the lower court properly evaluated Trump\u2019s arguments before rejecting his request last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
