\n\u201cI do think that he will lose the midterms because of Stephen Miller,\u201d Garcia told The New York Times<\/em> in an interview published Tuesday, referring to Trump\u2019s White House deputy chief of staff and one of the architects of the administration\u2019s hard-line immigration strategy.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
Garcia, who has consistently supported strong border enforcement and backed Trump\u2019s efforts to regain control of the southern border, stressed that her concern is not with securing the border itself, but with how the policy is being communicated and executed.
