You can follow me for updates.<a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/Bu89sCxalB\">https:\/\/t.co\/Bu89sCxalB<\/a><\/p>&mdash; Matt Sarelson, Esq. &#8211; Celebrity Attorney &amp; Advisor (@MSarelson) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/MSarelson\/status\/2049903824538652838?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">April 30, 2026<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/div>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Harpole\u2019s legal team points directly to Owens\u2019 public comments \u2014 including claims that Kirk\u2019s security team was \u201cshady\u201d and suggestions that Harpole attended a secret pre-operation meeting at a U.S. Army base the day before the shooting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The lawsuit flatly rejects that claim.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cThe claim that Harpole was present at Fort Huachuca\u2026is verifiably false,\u201d the complaint reads, noting travel records place him in Dallas at the time \u2014 with no evidence he ever accessed the base.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Owens didn\u2019t stop there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a December post on X, she questioned whether Harpole had been truthful about what happened in the chaotic moments after Kirk was shot, even asking whether anyone from his team had called 911.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She later requested an \u201coff the record discussion\u201d with Harpole \u2014 a request he ignored \u2014 before continuing to discuss him on her podcast for weeks, according to the filing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now, Harpole says the damage is real.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The lawsuit alleges he has lost business opportunities, suffered severe emotional distress, and seen both his personal and professional reputation take a hit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cAll of Owens\u2019s statements are either false on their face or create a false meaning,\u201d the complaint states. \u201cIt is simply false that Harpole knew Charlie Kirk was going to die or was involved in the planning\u2026of the assassination.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Owens, for her part, is not backing down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Addressing the lawsuit on her podcast Thursday, she brushed it off \u2014 and even suggested it could work in her favor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThis will give me the power of subpoena,\u201d she said, questioning why Harpole never demanded a retraction or responded to her outreach before filing suit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On X, she added another jab: \u201cIt\u2019s certainly an interesting claim that Brian Harpole is losing clients\/contracts because of me\u2014and not like, you know, how his last job ended.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<div class=\"embed-twitter\"><blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Candace Owens is being sued by Brian Harpole. <br><br>Harpole claims in the suit that he ignored Candace\u2019s text messages asking to confirm his whereabouts on September 8-9th because he didn\u2019t want her to profit off of his response. <br><br>I can\u2019t help but laugh at the irony of this\u2026 <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/74XHO2uHeA\">pic.twitter.com\/74XHO2uHeA<\/a><\/p>&mdash; Morgan Ariel (@itsmorganariel) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/itsmorganariel\/status\/2049995815385526591?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">April 30, 2026<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/div>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The lawsuit marks the latest legal headache for Owens, who has also faced litigation tied to comments about French First Lady Brigitte Macron.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, the case against Kirk\u2019s accused killer is still unfolding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Authorities arrested 22-year-old Tyler Robinson days after the shooting, alleging he confessed to his father.
