George Conway is making one thing crystal clear in his long-shot bid for Congress: if he gets to Washington, he’s coming for Donald Trump.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The longtime conservative attorney turned anti-Trump activist unveiled a scorching new campaign ad Monday promising to pursue what he calls Trump’s “third and final impeachment” \u2014 and even predicting the president will end up wearing an “orange jumpsuit” behind bars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n“Hi, Donald. It’s me, George Conway. I cost you 88 f—— million dollars, and I’ve only just gotten started,” Conway says in the 60-second spot filmed with the U.S. Capitol looming behind him.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
The jab references the massive defamation judgments Trump was ordered to pay writer E. Jean Carroll after juries found him liable for sexual abuse and defamation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Conway then escalates the attack.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n“But the only thing your name is going to be left on when I’m done with you is the orange jumpsuit you’re going to have to wear in prison,” he says.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
Pointing toward the Capitol, Conway adds: “That’s where we’re going to hold your third and final impeachment trial, the one that’s going to put you away for good, and I’m going to enjoy every minute of that.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The ad immediately triggered a sharp response from the White House.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
