Federal authorities arrested John Anthony Proia III, 41, of Waltham, on Thursday after a Boston grand jury indicted him on one count of cyberstalking. Prosecutors allege he targeted the conservative podcaster and wife of White House deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller with weeks of disturbing communications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Proia pleaded not guilty during his initial appearance in federal court in Boston, according to The Hill\u2019s reporting<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n According to the Justice Department, Proia allegedly contacted the victim at least 40 times between Aug. 3 and Sept. 23, using multiple phone numbers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Some days brought repeated communications.
