According to Mediaite, she and her younger brother were removed from their mother\u2019s custody, and reporting on court records has supported her account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Critics accused Ramaswamy\u2019s campaign of exploiting that history by giving Arthur a platform to attack her daughter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Former Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley was among those condemning the move.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cHe\u2019s a bad guy. Shame on Vivek,\u201d Stearns said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A Market Warning\u2014And A Campaign Doubling Down<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The controversy has coincided with another troubling development for Ramaswamy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In its Wednesday report, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mediaite.com\/politics\/vivek-ramaswamys-betting-odds-crater-after-blowback-from-ad-now-has-just-22-chance-to-win-ohio-govs-race\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Mediaite cited Polymarket prices<\/a> implying roughly a 22% chance of a Ramaswamy victory, compared with 79% for Acton. Ramaswamy had briefly fallen to 21%, the outlet reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Those figures represent a trading-market snapshot, not voter support or a guaranteed election forecast. Mediaite also noted that his market standing had been declining before the ad controversy, making it difficult to isolate the commercial\u2019s effect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">His campaign nevertheless plans to press ahead. Axios reported that the operation was committing $4 million to promoting the ad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Vance, meanwhile, urged Republicans to rally behind Ramaswamy and GOP Sen.
