(RNC)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dhillon, who previously worked as a legal adviser to Trump\u2019s campaign in 2020, made the announcement during an evening appearance with <em>Fox News&#8217;s<\/em> &#8220;Tucker Carlson Tonight.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cRepublicans are tired of losing and I think that that we really need to radically reshape our leadership in order to win,\u201d Dhillon told Carlson. \u201cWe can\u2019t keep running elections like we did in the 90\u2019s and the 2000s and we really have to modernize to compete with the Democrats dollar for dollar in the ways they fundraise, the way they deliver their ballots to the ballot boxes.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She also added the need to revamp messaging to be \u201cfresh and positive and not just reactive to news cycles and what the Democrats are doing.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Dhillon is already an RNC committee member.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>McDaniel has served as RNC chairwoman since 2017, however, Republicans&#8217; recent failures in the midterm elections have triggered a cascade of infighting within the party. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dhillon is entering into a growing field of challengers seeking to outs McDaniel. Outgoing New York Congressman Lee Zeldin has strongly hinted at pursuing the role. Pro-Trump businessman, Mike Lindell is also challenging McDaniel for the position.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">I\u2019ve been seriously considering your requests to run for RNC Chair.
