The 2024 primary field is already growing and another challenger could be throwing his hat into the ring sooner rather than later…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Thursday, former vice president Mike Pence<\/a> told reporters that Nikki Haley<\/a> “may have more company soon” in the 2024 presidential race.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking in Iowa, Pence noted that he wished Haley well and that she had done a “great job” during her time in the Trump administration serving as ambassador to the United Nations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Wednesday, Haley officially launched her bid for the White House after months of speculation. Trump told Fox News Digital<\/a> on Wednesday that he is “glad” Haley is in the running for the GOP presidential nomination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cRepublicans have lost the popular vote in seven out of the last eight presidential elections. That has to change,\u201d Haley, 51, said. \u201cJoe Biden\u2019s record is abysmal, but that shouldn\u2019t come as a surprise. The Washington establishment has failed us over and over and over again. It\u2019s time for a new generation of leadership.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last month, Haley signaled that she was still weighing a White House bid during an interview<\/a>, saying that the country needed a new generation to step up in 2024 and offering herself as a potential leader. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt\u2019s bigger than one person. And when you\u2019re looking at the future of America, I think it\u2019s time for new generational change. I don\u2019t think you need to be 80 years old to go be a leader in D.C.,\u201d Haley told the network. \u201cI think we need a young generation to come in, step up, and really start fixing things.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
