But seven sections that are still under wraps deal with indictment recommendations, Ms. Kohrs said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Asked whether the jurors had recommended indicting Mr. Trump, Ms. Kohrs gave a cryptic answer: \u201cYou\u2019re not going to be shocked. It\u2019s not rocket science,\u201d adding \u201cyou won\u2019t be too surprised.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The investigation in Atlanta has been seen as one of the most significant legal threats to Mr. Trump as he begins another run for the presidency. In November, the Justice Department&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.justice.gov\/opa\/pr\/appointment-special-counsel-0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">named a special counsel<\/a>, Jack Smith, to oversee two Trump-related criminal investigations. And last month, the Manhattan district attorney\u2019s office&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2023\/01\/30\/nyregion\/trump-stormy-daniels-grand-jury.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">began presenting evidence<\/a>&nbsp;to a grand jury on whether Mr. Trump paid hush money to a porn star during his 2016 presidential campaign, laying the groundwork for potential criminal charges against the former president in the coming months.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>This story is developing.
