The new mid-February deadline is a \u201crough estimate\u201d and is \u201csubject to modifications,\u201d according to the court spokesperson.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Closing arguments in the trial finished last week as New York Attorney General Letitia James seeks to fine Trump more than\u00a0$370 million\u00a0in a lawsuit alleging Trump misled the value of his company\u2019s assets in financial statements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Engoron has already rescinded some of Trump\u2019s business licenses in New York,\u00a0finding\u00a0Trump and some of his top executives, including Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump, liable for fraud.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Trump\u2019s defense has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/judge-delays-verdict-in-trumps-ny-civil-business-fraud-trial\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">argued<\/a> that their client\u2019s financial statements were unaudited estimates and were clearly offered as such, adding that the estimates of his net worth were too low, the opposite of what James is claiming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cThere have been no losses to any party, as the loans here were negotiated between very sophisticated parties,\u201d Trump\u2019s lawyers Christopher Kise and Michael T.
