Jean Carroll\u2019s\u00a0sexual battery and defamation lawsuits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Trump\u2019s lawsuit, filed on Monday, takes aim at how Stephanopoulos at multiple points in his questioning said Trump had been found \u201cliable for rape.\u201d The jury had found Trump liable for sexual abuse under New York law, but not rape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cJudges and two separate juries have found him liable for rape and for defaming the victim of that rape.
