Former Trump administration adviser Peter Navarro filed a request asking the Supreme Court to review his plea to get out of prison.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Tuesday, Navarro\u2019s lawyers asked<\/a> Justice\u00a0Neil Gorsuch\u00a0to look over the request initially denied by Roberts. The Supreme Court allows parties to resubmit requests to individual justices if their emergency appeals are denied by a separate single justice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n

\u201cWe respectfully request that our application for an order staying the execution of the district court\u2019s order requiring Dr. Navarro submit to the custody of the Bureau of Prisons be renewed with the Honorable Associate Justice Gorsuch,\u201d Navarro\u2019s attorneys, Stan M. Brand and Stanley E. Woodward, Jr., said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s the second time Navarro\u2019s asked the nation\u2019s highest court to set him free while he challenges his conviction. Chief Justice\u00a0John Roberts\u00a0<\/a>shut down the first request last month, a day before Navarro\u00a0went to prison<\/a>\u00a0on March 19.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
