This is the lowest level felony in New York, any potential sentence will more than likely be served after the 2024 election.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Trump has yet to respond to the verdict.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Trump, a slight favorite to win the White House, might face diminished support from some voters who aren&#8217;t keen on backing a candidate with a criminal record. On the flip side, it could galvanize his base and swing voters, who view the trial as a politically motivated attack while the economy languishes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The political significance of the trial was on display&nbsp;Tuesday, as the Biden&nbsp;and Trump campaigns held dueling events outside the courthouse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Biden campaign featured actor\u00a0Robert De Niro\u00a0and retired law enforcement officers who were at the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, for a press conference\u00a0to bash Trump as dangerous.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Robert De Niro: Donald Trump doesn\u2019t belong in my city.
