And if they want to take him down because he\u2019s mentally incapable of serving, invoke the 25th amendment. You don\u2019t get to sort of do this in the most politically beneficial way for Democrats. If it\u2019s an actual problem, they should take care of it the appropriate way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>White House sources reportedly indicated that President\u00a0Joe Biden\u2019s\u00a0hesitation to drop his re-election bid stemmed partly from concerns about Vice President\u00a0Kamala Harris\u2019\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mediaite.com\/election-2024\/breaking-kamala-harris-declares-candidacy-for-president-and-takes-over-bidens-96-million\/\">ability to defeat<\/a>\u00a0former President\u00a0Donald Trump\u00a0in an election.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Axios reporter\u00a0Alex Thompson\u00a0said that\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.axios.com\/2024\/07\/22\/biden-kamala-harris-election-chances\">three of Biden\u2019s aides<\/a>\u00a0familiar with private talks about his plans relayed to him the president\u2019s concerns about Harris as a viable nominee this November in an article published just one day after Biden announced he was dropping out and endorsed his vice president.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Former President Obama\u00a0has refrained from endorsing Harris explicitly\u00a0and remarked in a statement on Sunday: \u201cWe will be navigating uncharted waters in the days ahead.
