Last week, South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham, a vocal Trump ally, visited Nebraska to lobby for the change. Trump also personally reached out to state legislators. However, McDonnell\u2019s decision has made it unlikely that Nebraska\u2019s governor, Jim Pillen, will call a special session to vote on the matter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although the current effort has stalled, State Sen.
