The case is currently frozen and Trump filed a motion to dismiss the criminal charges on Wednesday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Daily Wire <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/fani-willis-ordered-to-hand-over-all-jack-smith-j6-comms-in-5-business-days\">reports<\/a>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Willis\u2019 office claimed in March that it did not have any documents on file or communications with Smith or the J6 Committee, Fox noted. However, the claim was untrue, and the office did have such communication.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/bombshell-house-report-reveals-trump-prosecutor-nathan-wade-met-with-white-house\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Daily Wire reporter Luke Rosiak<\/a>&nbsp;in October revealed Nathan Wade \u2013 Willis\u2019 romantic partner, whom she hired as special prosecutor in the Trump case \u2013 had extensive communications with the Biden White House, according to records.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wade billed the Fulton County office for hours of meetings with the White House, the congressional January 6 committee, and other D.C. officials, according to records obtained by the House Judiciary Committee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On November 18, 2022, he billed eight hours for \u201cInterview with DC\/White House,\u201d but under oath, he claimed he didn\u2019t remember the meeting and couldn\u2019t even say whether it was online or in person. Between September 7 and September 9, 2022, Wade billed $6,000 to taxpayers for \u201cWitness Interviews; conf call DC; team meeting,\u201d but couldn\u2019t remember what the D.C. meeting entailed.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Fulton County Superior Court Judge Robert McBurney also said in his ruling that Willis violated Georgia\u2019s open records act when she failed to respond to nonprofit Judicial Watch\u2019s lawsuit about the communication.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Judicial Watch filed a suit in March after Willis said she does not have responsive records to the request \u2014 the same thing she had told House Republican investigators seeking details about her election interference case brought against President-elect Trump.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Willis had claimed she was not properly served, but McBurney wrote that despite confusion on the court docket initially, the prosecutor \u201cnever offered up a meritorious defense.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She is ordered to produce any relevant records and pay attorney fees.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>She has five days&#8230; Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis has been ordered to hand over all records related to her communications with special counsel Jack Smith and the House January 6 Committee.
