{"id":8382,"date":"2024-12-13T10:23:02","date_gmt":"2024-12-13T15:23:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/greatamericanewsdesk.com\/?p=8382"},"modified":"2024-12-13T10:31:54","modified_gmt":"2024-12-13T15:31:54","slug":"report-biden-to-sell-off-border-wall-parts-before-trump-takes-office","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/greatamericanewsdesk.com\/news\/report-biden-to-sell-off-border-wall-parts-before-trump-takes-office\/njackson\/2024\/12\/","title":{"rendered":"Report: Biden Selling Off Border Wall Parts Before Trump Takes\u00a0Office"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Biden administration will do anything to keep the border open&#8230;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>According to an investigation by The Daily Wire, the Biden administration is reportedly attempting to delay construction of the Southern border wall by hauling a massive amount of border wall materials away to be sold off in a government auction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Videos obtained exclusively by The Daily Wire from a U.S. Customs and Border Patrol agent show unused sections of the wall being hauled away on the back of flatbed trucks from a section of the border just south of Tucson, a hotspot for illegal crossings during the Biden administration. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The agent estimates that up to half a mile per day of unused border wall is being moved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThey are taking it from three stations: Nogales, Tucson, and Three Points,\u201d the border patrol agent, who was granted anonymity to speak freely, told The Daily Wire. \u201cThe goal is to move all of it off the border before Christmas.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Watch:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">EXCLUSIVE: Weeks before Trump takes office, Biden is racing to auction off unused border wall materials. <br><br>Video shows trucks hauling wall materials off the border to a government auction site, where a massive amount of wall is waiting to be sold. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/ogaQMBHw7R\">pic.twitter.com\/ogaQMBHw7R<\/a><\/p>&mdash; Daily Wire (@realDailyWire) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/realDailyWire\/status\/1867257767641174408?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">December 12, 2024<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The Daily Wire <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/exclusive-biden-races-to-sell-off-border-wall-parts-before-trump-takes-office?topStoryPosition=1\">reports<\/a>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>The government contractor, DP Trucking LLC, is transporting the pieces of the wall north on Interstate 19 to Pinal Airpark in Marana, Arizona, where it is being auctioned through GovPlanet, a surplus government equipment auction marketplace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThey just started taking all the wall that was not used, which is still totally good and usable, and they started taking it northbound,\u201d the agent said. \u201cThey\u2019re pulling it all off the border.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Harold Lambeth, the owner of the trucking company, confirmed to The Daily Wire in a phone call that his company is transporting the unused border wall sections north away from the construction sites. He said he is unable to disclose further information about the work.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>The\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.govplanet.com\/jsp\/s\/search.ips?sm=0&amp;l2=USA-AZ&amp;k=Steel%20Bollard%20Wall%20Sections&amp;mf=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">auction website<\/a>\u00a0shows that sales occurred as recently as December 4 for the same types of materials being taken off the border. GovPlanet has online auctions set for Dec. 11 and Dec. 18 for more of the border wall material, which is listed on the company\u2019s website as \u201c32.91\u2019 X 7.91\u2019 Steel Bollard Wall Sections w\/Grout.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The bidding for each section of wall panels is set to begin at only $5.00, according to the website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/dw-wp-production.imgix.net\/2024\/12\/Screenshot-2024-12-11-at-10.07.02-PM-438x576.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-843015\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Trump is\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/world\/us\/trumps-day-one-deportations-border-wall-scrapping-biden-humanitarian-programs-2024-11-12\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">expected to use an executive order<\/a>\u00a0to unlock funds to restart construction of the border wall potentially on day one of his presidency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Arizona Rep.
