They&#39;d need to find another county willing to take it on. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/qrUMmWpWEv\">pic.twitter.com\/qrUMmWpWEv<\/a><\/p>&mdash; Will Chamberlain (@willchamberlain) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/willchamberlain\/status\/1869757134579400765?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">December 19, 2024<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The court declined to outright dismiss Trump\u2019s indictment, but disqualifying Willis\u2019s office throws the future of the case further into doubt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Hill <a href=\"https:\/\/thehill.com\/regulation\/court-battles\/5048455-fani-willis-disqualified-trump-georgia\/\">reports<\/a>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cAfter carefully considering the trial court\u2019s findings in its order, we conclude that it erred by failing to disqualify DA Willis and her office,\u201d the court wrote in&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/efast.gaappeals.us\/download?filingId=cdec1774-027f-4de6-aaf5-fb6c9bb99270\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">its ruling.<\/a>&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe remedy crafted by the trial court to prevent an ongoing appearance of impropriety did nothing to address the appearance of impropriety that existed at times when DA Willis was exercising her broad pretrial discretion about who to prosecute and what charges to bring,\u201d it continued.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>In an exclusive interview with Fox News Digital, Trump said the &#8220;whole case has been a disgrace to justice.&#8221;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;It was started by the Biden DOJ as an attack on his political opponent, Donald Trump,&#8221; he said, &#8220;They used anyone and anybody, and she has been disqualified, and her boyfriend has been disqualified, and they stole funds and went on trips.&#8221;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Trump said the case &#8220;should not be allowed to go any further.&#8221;\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;There is no way such corrupt people can lead a case, and then it gets taken over by somebody else,&#8221; Trump told Fox News Digital. &#8220;It was a corrupt case, so how could it be taken over by someone else?&#8221;\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>This is a breaking news story.
