It sounds like a Jussie Smollett part two. You\u2019re going to drag the people through something like this?\u201d Lake said. \u201cYou\u2019re letting a woman who has been running a terrible campaign direct you to a story like this? You know she is running a bad campaign.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>\u201cI can\u2019t believe she would blame my amazing people, blame me for something like that,\u201d Lake said. \u2018I don\u2019t even know where her campaign office is. I\u2019m assuming it\u2019s in a basement somewhere, because that\u2019s where she\u2019s been campaigning. You guys are despicable for falling into that trap.\u201d<\/p><p>\u201cI\u2019m saddened that Hobbs and her camp would try to pin this on us. It\u2019s defamatory and it\u2019s wrong. Her own party is attacking her. She is trying to deflect her abysmal campaign,\u201d Lake added.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Lake, a political newcomer, has exceeded experts&#8217; expectations as she&#8217;s seen unprecedented success throughout her campaign. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.realclearpolitics.com\/epolls\/2022\/governor\/az\/arizona_governor_lake_vs_hobbs-7842.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">RealClearPolitics<\/a> still regards the race as a &#8220;toss up&#8221; but recent polls show Lake with a distinct edge over her opponent. A <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/hold-exclusive-poll-kari-lake-in-lead-for-arizona-gov-masters-trails-kelly-by-one-point-for-senate\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Daily Wire\/ Trafalgar<\/a> poll showed Lake with a three-point edge over Hobbs while a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fox10phoenix.com\/news\/2022-arizona-election-poll-lake-leads-governors-race-senate-race-tightens\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Fox 10\/ InsiderAdvantage<\/a> poll reported Lake up 11 points. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the Arizona Senate race, the nonpartisan Cook Political Report(CPR) reported it is shifting its rating of the race from \u201clean Democrat\u201d to \u201ctoss up\u201d less than two weeks ahead of Election Day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>CPR noted the new shift because recent private polling has shown the race between Sen.
