Boasberg who recently sought to block deportation flights to El Salvador.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;This Radical Left Lunatic of a Judge, a troublemaker and agitator who was sadly appointed by Barack Hussein Obama, was not elected President &#8211; He didn\u2019t WIN the popular VOTE (by a lot!), he didn\u2019t WIN ALL SEVEN SWING STATES, he didn\u2019t WIN 2,750 to 525 Counties, HE DIDN\u2019T WIN ANYTHING! I WON FOR MANY REASONS, IN AN OVERWHELMING MANDATE, BUT FIGHTING ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION MAY HAVE BEEN THE NUMBER ONE REASON FOR THIS HISTORIC VICTORY,&#8221; Trump declared in the post.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;I\u2019m just doing what the VOTERS wanted me to do. This judge, like many of the Crooked Judges\u2019 I am forced to appear before, should be IMPEACHED!!! WE DON\u2019T WANT VICIOUS, VIOLENT, AND DEMENTED CRIMINALS, MANY OF THEM DERANGED MURDERERS, IN OUR COUNTRY. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!!&#8221; the president added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Over the weekend, Republican Rep. Brandon Gill (Texas) said he would be pushing to impeach the federal judge who ordered the Trump administration to halt deportations of Venezuelan gang members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ll be filing Articles of Impeachment against activist judge\u00a0James Boasberg\u00a0this week,\u201d Gill wrote in a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/RepBrandonGill\/status\/1901097856066257071\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">post on X<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">I\u2019ll be filing Articles of Impeachment against activist judge James Boasberg this week. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/kh4vfooS2A\">pic.twitter.com\/kh4vfooS2A<\/a><\/p>&mdash; Congressman Brandon Gill (@RepBrandonGill) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RepBrandonGill\/status\/1901097856066257071?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">March 16, 2025<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>On Saturday,\u00a0President Trump\u00a0invoked the\u00a0Alien Enemies Act of 1798. The order was intended to target members of the Tren de Aragua gang, who Trump said could be arrested, restrained and removed from the country. The moment marked only the third time the wartime act has been used and the first time since World War II. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>U.S. District Judge James Boasberg had earlier ordered\u00a0a temporary block\u00a0on the deportation of five of the group\u2019s members, which prompted Trump to issue the proclamation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The editorial board of The New York Post also hammered billionaire Elon Musk for calling to impeach Judge Boasberg, calling the move &#8220;way out of line.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cElon Musk is way out of his lane in cheering a bid to impeach federal Judge James Boasberg, who\u2019s put a temporary hold on deportation flights of illegal migrant gangbangers,\u201d the editorial board wrote in their Sunday piece, which was&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mediaite.com\/news\/sorry-elon-the-new-york-post-rebukes-way-out-of-his-lane-musk-for-attacks-on-judge-who-ordered-halt-to-deportation-flights\/\">highlighted by Mediaite<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Necessary <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/akDxJ2rOKW\">https:\/\/t.co\/akDxJ2rOKW<\/a><\/p>&mdash; Elon Musk (@elonmusk) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/elonmusk\/status\/1901195900568928406?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">March 16, 2025<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe like the idea of the flights: The brutes of Tren de Aragua and MS-13 have had it too easy for far too long, and current efforts to get tough are a necessary correction to Biden-era denial,\u201d they added<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cThe case seems destined to go all the way to the Supreme Court.
