We have nothing additional to provide at this time,&#8221; a defense official told Fox News Digital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On Tuesday, Dan Caldwell was placed on leave for an \u201cunauthorized disclosure\u201d of information amid an investigation into Pentagon leaks an official confirmed to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/top-hegseth-advisor-placed-administrative-leave-defense-department\">Fox News Digital&nbsp;<\/a>that Reuters\u2019 initial reporting is accurate but declined to comment on an ongoing investigation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Pentagon has not provided specifics about what the three officials are accused of leaking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Last month Defense Department (DOD) announced it would launch a probe into &#8220;recent unauthorized disclosures of national security information&#8221;&nbsp;and might employ the use of polygraphs to determine the source of the leaks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Last month, National Intelligence Director&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/americanliberty.news\/?s=Tulsi+Gabbard\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Tulsi Gabbard<\/a>&nbsp;announced increased security measures following a number of leaks within the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/americanliberty.news\/tag\/intelligence-community\/\">intelligence community<\/a>. \u201cOur nation\u2019s Intelligence Community must be focused on our&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/americanliberty.news\/tag\/national-security\/\">national security<\/a>&nbsp;mission. Politically motivated leaks undermine our national security and the trust of the American people, and will not be tolerated,\u201d she declared on Friday in a thread on X.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cUnfortunately, such leaks have become commonplace with no investigation or accountability. That ends now. We know of and are aggressively pursuing recent leakers from within the Intelligence Community and will hold them accountable,\u201d Gabbard added. She then listed several \u201crecent examples\u201d of intelligence community leaks:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u201cA leaker who has been sharing classified information with the Huffington Post\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u201cA leaker within the IC sharing information on Israel \/ Iran with The Washington Post\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u201cA leaker within the IC sharing information about the U.S. \u2013 Russia relationship with NBC\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u201cA leaker sharing information on NCSC activities and actions with The Record\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Gabbard concluded the thread by warning that unauthorized disclosure of classified material is a breach of the law and will be handled accordingly. Gabbard, a former Democrat Congresswoman from Hawaii who turned Republican, was sworn in last month after a 52-48 vote.
