{"id":9817,"date":"2025-06-17T14:07:53","date_gmt":"2025-06-17T18:07:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/greatamericanewsdesk.com\/?p=9817"},"modified":"2025-06-17T14:07:54","modified_gmt":"2025-06-17T18:07:54","slug":"mypillow-guy-mike-lindell-loses-dominion-defamation-case","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/greatamericanewsdesk.com\/featured\/mypillow-guy-mike-lindell-loses-dominion-defamation-case\/njackson\/2025\/06\/","title":{"rendered":"&#8216;MyPillow Guy&#8217; Mike Lindell Loses Dominion Defamation Case"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Despite suffering a major loss in court on Monday, MyPillow founder and staunch Trump loyalist Mike Lindell is remaining positive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A federal jury in Colorado on Monday afternoon found MyPillow CEO\u00a0Mike Lindell\u00a0liable for defamation, siding with a former\u00a0Dominion Voting Systems\u00a0employee who alleged that the Donald Trump loyalist caused real-world harm with\u00a02020 stolen election conspiracies\u00a0he aired at his 2021 \u201ccyber symposium,\u201d an event that also\u00a0proved costly for Lindell\u00a0in the form of an ill-fated and boomeranging \u201cProve Mike Wrong Challenge.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the end, the jury found Lindell liable for defaming Dr. Eric Coomer, along with his company FrankSpeech for participating in a civil conspiracy to do the same, leaving the MyPillow CEO on the hook for $2.3 million \u2014 a far cry from the $60-plus million Coomer\u2019s team asked for but nonetheless a loss for Lindell,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/KyleClark\/status\/1934740473366593747\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">according to Kyle Clark of 9NEWS<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It wasn\u2019t a total loss for Lindell, however, as MyPillow escaped liability \u2014 reportedly as Coomer\u2019s legal team requested.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In an interview with former NYC Mayor Rudy Giuliani on LindellTV after the verdict, Lindell offered his reaction, saying: \u201cIt was awesome.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" src=\"https:\/\/greatamericanewsdesk.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/49276393511_9200cd9393_c-600x400.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1742\" srcset=\"https:\/\/greatamericanewsdesk.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/49276393511_9200cd9393_c-600x400.jpg 600w, https:\/\/greatamericanewsdesk.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/49276393511_9200cd9393_c-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/greatamericanewsdesk.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/49276393511_9200cd9393_c-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/greatamericanewsdesk.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/49276393511_9200cd9393_c.jpg 799w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Photo via Gage Skidmore Flickr<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>\u201cI hope Mike doesn\u2019t feel too down.
