Brian Kilmeade isn’t on board.
The Fox & Friends co-host recently broke with several conservative allies after blasting President Trump’s newly unveiled “Presidential Walk of Fame” plaques at the White House, warning the displays go too far — and could come back to haunt Republicans.
Installed along the White House Colonnade, the plaques feature blunt and often mocking descriptions of former presidents. While some on the right have praised the move as funny and overdue, Kilmeade says it crosses a line.
“I’m not for this at all,” he said.
What’s on the plaques
The displays take direct aim at multiple Trump predecessors:
- Joe Biden: Replaced with an autopen image and labeled “by far, the worst President in American history.”
- Barack Obama: Called “one of the most divisive political figures in American history.”
- Bill Clinton: Noted mainly for Hillary Clinton’s 2016 loss to Trump.
- George W. Bush: Also targeted with critical commentary.
The plaques first sparked debate on The Five, where Jessica Tarlov called them “repulsive behavior.”
Why Kilmeade objects
Kilmeade warned that today’s trolling could become tomorrow’s problem.
“They’re just going to mock President Trump or put something on his plaque,” he said, arguing the displays could fuel endless political payback as power shifts.
He was especially critical of the autopen image used for Biden.
“I am not for the autopen,” Kilmeade said, calling it juvenile and unfit for a historic setting.
“If you’re going to do it,” he added, “just put the profiles up there.”
History — and consequences
Kilmeade also noted that presidential reputations often change, pointing to Ulysses S. Grant as a leader once derided but later reassessed.
Even so, he made clear he opposes using the White House for political trolling.
“I don’t think it’s going to happen with Joe Biden,” he said, “but I am not for the trolling.”
Conservatives divided
Kilmeade’s stance puts him at odds with Fox colleagues Jesse Watters and Greg Gutfeld, who defended the plaques as entertaining and brushed off concerns about decorum or future blowback.
What do you think? Is this harmless trolling that is long overdue in response to the left’s taunts, or is it inappropriate for the president to display on the side of the White House? Share your thoughts in the comments below!

is inappropriate for the people’s house. even if accurate. In poor taste for sure
Killmeade is a killjoy. The easiest pithy comment ever.
I agree with Kilmeade. Pretty childish move.
Killmead wants a double standard! He wants another Milque-toast, utterly silent punching bag like GWB. Politeness doesn’t seem to be the behavior of Biden, who didn’t check his mouth when referring to Trump, so why should Trump refrain? He got to where he is by NOT being a p*ssy.
I agree with Kilmeade.. I don’t think this is the appropriate place for putting down past presidents.. Seems childish.. I love President Trump and what he’s doing for America, but sometimes he’s kinda childish in his actions.
Fox News was once conservative, I haven’t watched Brian for a long time. Seems like those folks have to make stupid comments just to keep their job. I switched to Newsmax to get the truth and those guys are very conservative.
More proof that Trump has crossed the insanity line.
Nah, just a thoroughly fed-up President who has sacrificed more than a billion $$$ in net worth, survived two assassination attempts, suffered endless, unwarranted criticisms and demeaning/mortifying attacks while he works endlessly to undo 60 years of damage our prior (self-serving, chicken _hit) governance has wrested upon we citizen-taxpayers! You’d be fed-up and pissed, too!
I would not do anything except a picture saying nothing except a name. There is no need to try to be funny if it is insulting. History will show what they did.
Yeah? What great things did LBJ accomplish and what does history show/remember re this mostly forgotten name?
“inappropriate for the president to display on the side of the White House?”
Trump is being low class dong this, Whitehouse is not just another bathroom for him to decorate.
Also against renaming Kennedy Center, he is living up to the jacket the left has put on him for lacking class.
I voted for him three times but in these cases he needs to resist letting his ego run amuck.
IM a conservativd but enough of dwelling on the bad side of Former Presidents !!! Its not a way of getting more admiration from opposing parties but rather Focus on the Ungraciouness & petty attitude of the present occupant of the White House . Almost a Year of the Republican Administration & the Record speaks for itself !
Be positive & forget the past deeds of past administration .We need a forward , thinking & caring administration !
NOT SO!
Actually, they don’t go far enough – including as it pertains to Trump himself.
There should be a list of all the biblical abominations each of them committed while in office underneath their pictures, beginning with their allegiance to the biblically seditious Constitution as the law of the land that officially commenced America’s suicidal trek to the precipice.
For Trump, this would include the names of the six sodomites and lesbians he appointed to his team.
For evidence that the Constitution is biblically seditious, see free online book “Bible Law vs. the United States Constitution: The Christian Perspective,” in which every Article and Amendment is examined by the Bible, at Bible versus Constitution dot org. As much as I love President Trump but sometimes he’s over the top with his tweets and comments.
Please stay focused President Trump!
I thought conservatives wanted to bring people together this just adds to division, very bad taste by our president.
I agree with Theo’s comment above. Totally inappropriate, unnecessary, and lacks class. I didn’t expect that kind of pettiness from the man I voted for.
I think Trumps stance with the plaques was unnecessary and unkind. Very disappointed in this juvenile action.i If you can be anything, be kind.
The Constitution was written by people ( by far most of them were ) who were Christians. They believed, as I do, that the Constitution is strongly based on Biblical principals.
Anyone can come up with their own supposed interpretation of what the Bible states, but ‘it says what it says’.
Change it’s meaning at your own risk!
For once, plaques that actually give an honest assessment of how much damage, or unrealized good these men bestowed upon our nation. I’m all in on it. There’s nothing juvenile or abusive of showing how useless or dangerous any POTUS has been to our republic. The office is what’s important, not the knuckle head that we’ve installed in it. They make their own history, good or bad. Either way it’s our history to display and remember why we shouldn’t make the same mistakes, or remember what’s best for the next election.
