A Presidential Halloween Surprise
The special flyover added an unexpected element to the White House’s annual Halloween tradition, giving young visitors a chance to see one of America’s most recognizable aircraft in action.

The aircraft’s appearance was coordinated with federal aviation officials, according to The Washington Post, which reported that the Federal Aviation Administration temporarily halted departures at Reagan National Airport to accommodate the flight.
Washington’s AlertDC system also issued a notification about the planned military flyover.
