White House Press Sec. Fiercely Defends Trump Over Zelenskyy Showdown

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt defended President Trump’s recent behavior during negotiations with Ukraine leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Friday.

Friday’s joint press event quickly turned sour as Zelenskyy, Trump, and Vice President JD Vance openly argued and insulted one another over the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine — in a stunning showdown that unfolded on live TV.

During Sunday’s Media Buzz, Kurtz acknowledged Zelenskyy could be “irritating” but pointedly noted that “it also seemed like President Trump lost his temper.”

Leavitt pushed back hard, dismissing the idea outright: “I would disagree with that. I think what happened in the Oval Office, I was there, was unfortunately President Zelenskyy came in with a mindset not wanting to negotiate peace.”

She shifted blame to the Ukrainian leader: “President Zelenskyy was also antagonistic, and frankly, he was rude. He picked a fight with the Vice President of the United States. He repeatedly interrupted President Trump… After three years of funding this brutal war, [Americans] are sick and tired of footing the bill.”

Kurtz, sticking to his initial take, pushed back and even rationalized Zelenskyy’s issue with ongoing negotiations: “The president kicked him out without the expected agreement about rare minerals, and President Zelenskyy kept saying he needed security agreements, security because Vladimir Putin had a long history of breaking agreements, so wasn’t that a reasonable point for him to make?”

“Well, that’s not what this meeting was about,” Leavitt shot back. “And President Zelenskyy was told that ahead of time… This meeting was about signing an economic partnership between the United States of America and Ukraine.”

When Kurtz interjected — “His country’s at war!” — Leavitt pivoted, arguing Trump is still actively pursuing peace.

“Yeah, I would just say a ceasefire might leave all the Russian land gains intact,” Kurtz replied, before adding: “I’ve never seen anything like it, would have happened behind closed doors. So why hold the meeting in front of the cameras?”

Leavitt replied: “Because President Trump is the most transparent president in history and it was great for the cameras to be in there because the American people and the world were able to see what the president and his team has seen behind the scenes in negotiating with President Zelenskyy’s team.”

On Sunday, U.K. Prime Minister Keir Starmer put forward a framework for a peace plan between Ukraine and Russia, though he acknowledged it relies heavily on assumed U.S. support.

Starmer said the U.K. is prepared to deploy boots on the ground in Ukraine as well as air force assets to ensure Russia does not infringe on a peace agreement. He nevertheless stated that the plan would rely heavily on U.S. backing as well.

Trump Transports Raided Materials Back To Mar-A-Lago

      It’s over…

President Donald Trump said he is taking the government-generated documents found in Mar-a-Lago after his first term, where they were seized by the FBI, back to Florida.

The president took to Truth Social on Friday to say he is taking the documents back:

The Department of Justice has just returned the boxes that Deranged Jack Smith made such a big deal about. They are being brought down to Florida and will someday be part of the Trump Presidential Library. Justice finally won out. I did absolutely nothing wrong. This was merely an attack on a political opponent that, obviously, did not work well. Justice in our Country will now be restored.

The FBI seized the documents at Trump’s Florida home and resort in August 2022. Agents found boxes of documents all over Mar-a-Lagoincluding in a ballroom, a storage room, and a bathroom. Two months before, an attorney for Trump attested to the Department of Justice that to the best of her knowledge, no government documents were at Mar-a-Lago. The raid showed otherwise.

Trump has long claimed he declassified the documents in question and that he took them “very legally.”

“There’s something going on because they’re going after me viciously,” he said in March 2024. “Then all of a sudden it comes out that Biden took 10 times the number of documents that I did. And I took them very legally and I wasn’t hiding them.

On Friday, Kyle Griffin of NBC News reported that White House staffers were seen loading about 15 boxes on Air Force One en route to Mar-a-Lago.

Trump was criminally prosecuted by former Special Counsel Jack Smith, who alleged that the president willfully took classified material to Mar-a-Lago after departing the White House in January 2021.

Judge Aileen Cannon, who was appointed by Trump in 2020, ultimately dismissed the case on the grounds that Smith’s appointment as special counsel was illegal.

      It’s over…

President Trump has called off negotiations with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to end the conflict in Ukraine after a tense Oval Office meeting in which the two leaders sparred over U.S. support for Kyiv.

“We had a very meaningful meeting in the White House today. Much was learned that could never be understood without conversation under such fire and pressure,” Trump posted on Truth Social after the meeting.

“It’s amazing what comes out through emotion, and I have determined that President Zelenskyy is not ready for Peace if America is involved, because he feels our involvement gives him a big advantage in negotiations,” Trump continued. “I don’t want advantage, I want PEACE. He disrespected the United States of America in its cherished Oval Office. He can come back when he is ready for Peace.”

Shortly after Trump’s post on Truth Social, Zelensky’s motorcade pulled up to the White House, signaling negotiations had ended.

The two leaders had been scheduled to hold a joint press conference and sign a deal giving the U.S. access to Ukraine’s critical minerals supply later in the day. The press conference has been canceled, and the minerals deal was not signed.

Trump’s post followed a stunning exchange in the Oval Office in which the president and Vice President Vance teed off on Zelensky, accusing him of being ungrateful for U.S. support and of having little leverage in talks.

      Watch:

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reacted publicly for the first time since his Oval Office blowup with President Donald Trump on Friday with a social media post thanking the United States.

“Thank you America, thank you for your support, thank you for this visit,” Zelenskyy posted on X. “Thank you @POTUS. Congress, and the American people. Ukraine needs just and lasting peace, and we are working exactly for that.”

Famed Dem Strategist Predicts Trump Admin Will ‘Collapse’ Within 30 Days

      A stunning claim…

Longtime Democrat strategist James Carville suggested the Trump Administration will “collapse” within 30 days as the public reacts to the sweeping actions from the executive branch.

“I believe that this administration, in less than 30 days, is in the midst of a massive collapse and particularly a collapse in public opinion,” Carville said during a conversation with Mediaite’s Dan Abrams about the Trump administration’s unprecedented recent actions.

Abrams asked Carville to clarify what he meant, to confirm that Carville believes the administration will crumble shortly.

“It’s collapsing right now. We’re in the midst of a collapse,” Carville replied. “This is the lowest approval, not even close, that any president has ever had at a comparable time.”

The Trump administration has made drastic moves to slash federal spending through Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), which has caused concern across the country. Thousands of federal workers are out of work as DOGE is examining various federal agencies, potentially gaining access to sensitive information.

Carville noted Trump has already dropped in approval ratings from one “pretty damn good poll” and believes it will be “easy pickings” in about six weeks. The mentioned poll showed Trump’s approval rating dropping from the low 50s to the upper 30s.

Carville’s comments follow previous ones he’s made predicting the Trump administration would collapse. He joined Fox News’s “Hannity” last week to say Democrats don’t need to be aggressive in combating Trump because his poll numbers predict a “collapse is already underway.”

Tensions Boil Over In White House Meeting With Ukrainian President

President Donald Trump, Vice President JD Vance and Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy sparred during their meeting at the White House.

Zelenskyy visited the White House on Friday to sign a deal regarding Ukraine’s rare earth minerals. During a meeting in the Oval Office, Zelenskyy told Trump and Vance that Vladimir Putin has violated agreements with his country in the past and occupied parts of Ukraine during Trump’s first term.

Vance responded by telling Zelenskyy, “I think it’s disrespectful for you to come into the oval office and try to litigate this in front of them American media.” The vice president then accused his government of forcing civilians to the frontlines due to a low amount of manpower.

“Have you’ve ever been to Ukraine that you say what problems we have?” Zelenskyy shot back.

“I’ve actually watched and seen the stories and I know that what happens is you bring people, you bring them on a propaganda tour,” Vance continued. “Mr. President. Do you disagree that you’ve had problems bringing people into your military? And do you think that it’s respectful to come to the Oval Office of the United States of America and attack the administration that is trying to trying to prevent the destruction of your country?”

Zelenskyy continued that under war, “everybody has problems, even you” and that the U.S. would feel the war “in the future.”

“You don’t know that,” Trump responded as Zelenskyy said “God bless you” to Trump.

“Don’t tell us what we’re going to feel. We’re trying to solve a problem. Don’t tell us what we’re going to feel,” Trump continued.

“You are in no position to dictate that, remember that,” Trump said, as Zelenskyy defended that he was simply answering Vance’s questions.

“I feel we’re going to feel very good, very strong,” Trump said. “You’re right now not in a very good position. You’ve allowed yourself to be in a very bad position.”

“You don’t have the cards right now. With us, you start having cards,” Trump continued, as Zelesnkyy said, “I’m not playing cards.”

“Yeah you’re playing cards,” Trump said. “You’re gambling with the lives of millions of people. You’re gambling with World War III. You’re gambling with World War III. And what you’re doing is very disrespectful to the country, this country.”

Trump To Sign Executive Order Making English Official Language of US

President Donald Trump is set to sign an executive order that will make English the official language of the U.S., Fox News Digital confirmed on Friday morning.

Trump will sign the executive order later on Friday, which rescinds a mandate issued by former President Bill Clinton in 2000 that required federal agencies and recipients of federal funding to provide language assistance to non-English speakers, a White House official shared with Fox Digital.

Fox News noted that the U.S. has never had an official language across its nearly 250-year history, though every major document such as the Constitution and Declaration of Independence has been written in English. About 180 countries of the 195 countries across the globe have official languages, leaving the U.S. as one of the few countries that has not officiated a language, a White House official shared.

The order is intended to celebrate multilingual Americans who have learned English and passed it down to their family members, while also “empowering immigrants” to reach the American dream via a common language.

Trump Urged To Intervene After Vance Relative Reportedly Denied Organ Transplant Over Covid Vax

        3

President Donald Trump is facing pressure to use his executive power to block hospitals from denying organ transplants for people not vaccinated against COVID-19 after reports emerged that Vice President JD Vance’s 12-year-old relative was reportedly denied a heart transplant over her COVID-19 vaccination status

In a letter to President Trump, Rep. Michael Rulli (R-Ohio) alongside Rep. Erin Houchin (R-Ind.) called on Trump to take action. Rep. Rulli said he was partially moved to act after hearing about Vance’s relative.

The letter, signed by Rulli, Houchin and five other House Republicans, cited Trump’s executive orders ending COVID-19 vaccine mandates in schools and reinstating military service members who were discharged for not getting the vaccine. “Over the past week, it has come to light that multiple desperate Americans have been denied life-saving organ transplants due to their COVID-19 vaccination status,” the letter said. “This outrageous denial of care has affected some of our most vulnerable citizens – including a child from Indiana and a veteran from Ohio.”

Houchin told Fox News, “Patients – especially children – should never be turned away from care due to government-imposed mandates. This effort urges President Trump to take action to ensure no hospital or transplant center can discriminate against patients based on their decision to decline the COVID-19 vaccine.”

“President Trump has done such a great job recently on executive orders,” Rulli told Fox News Digital in an interview. “And I am asking President Trump if he sees this, to please do an executive order… because you could save someone’s life today.”

“The timing is everything. If we don’t get this done, people’s lives could be at risk.”

The girl’s mother, Jeneen Deal, told the Daily Mail that giving her daughter the vaccine would violate the family’s religious beliefs.

Vance said in comments to the Daily Mail that he would try to help.

“I guess it’s been circulating on social media, but I was made aware of a couple days ago, and we’re trying to dig in and trying to help, obviously, as much as possible,” he said.

Air Traffic Controllers May See Pay Raises As Trump Admin. Seeks To Boost Enrollment

The Trump administration is taking serious steps to boost recruitment numbers for air traffic controllers, including a 30% pay hike.

Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy made the announcement during a press conference at the air traffic controller’s academy in Oklahoma on Thursday. He argued that the pay structure and the technology air traffic controllers are forced to use are outdated.

“Currently, students are paid $17.61 an hour. By the way, you might be able to go to Walgreens and make that, right? So we’re going to bump it up to $22.84 an hour,” Duffy said.

“And again, I think making sure people have a wage that can allow them to live while they’re going through school. But the real incentive is, again, three years out of this academy, and you’re certified, on average, $160,000 a year. So you can be 24 years old, 23 years old, making a great salary, as an air traffic controller.”

Duffy noted that the pay increase plan will require Congress to approve “billions” in additional funding for the DOT.

Elon Musk also sent out a request for retired air traffic controllers to return to work.

The announcement comes after a string of air travel disasters in recent weeks, though few of them were blamed on air traffic control.

In late January, an Army Black Hawk helicopter and an American Airlines passenger jet collided over the Potomac River, killing all 67 people on board.

Delta Air Lines flight from Minneapolis to Toronto‘s Pearson International Airport experienced a severe incident upon landing last Monday. The aircraft overturned on the runway, resulting in injuries to eight individuals, one critically.

Most recently, a Southwest airliner narrowly avoided a collision with a Flexjet business jet on a runway in Chicago. The Southwest plane was coming in for landing as the Flexjet, allegedly ignoring instructions from air traffic control, crossed the landing strip.

Pilots in the Southwest plane were able to take off again quickly enough to avoid a collision.

Woman Gets Instant Dose Of Karma After Making Assassination Threat

        What goes around comes around…

A woman may be facing a visit from the Feds after threatening to kill Trump senior adviser and the world’s richest man, Elon Musk.

TikTok user @sarahcroberts shared a now-deleted video calling for the Tesla and X owner to be assassinated.

“We need to X him [Musk], and by X I mean, formally known as assassination. And it’s a warning from the FBI is going to f*cking show up. Arrest me. You don’t have enough people to even investigate me at this point. I haven’t filed my taxes in, like, eight years and yet, nobody has come for me. So, I’m going to f*cking say it. Let’s assassinate some motherf*ckers,” the woman said in the video.

Her video captured the attention of the federal government, setting @sarahcroberts up for a very uncomfortable road ahead.

Ed Martin, the US Attorney for Washington, D.C., responded on X saying they’ll “talk soon” and she’s going to be put “in the system.”

The Daily Caller reported that she deleted her entire account following the video going viral.

Musk has faced a growing number of threats since associating with President Trump.

The incident comes months after a Tesla Cybertruck exploded in front of the Trump Hotel in Las Vegas.

U.S. Army soldier drove the Cybertruck, which he rented from Turo, outside of the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas on Monday morning. Upon arriving, the vehicle was detonated by explosives in the car.

Investigators found fireworks, gasoline canisters and camping fuel in the remains of the vehicle. The soldier was believed to have fatally shot himself shortly before the explosion.

On the day of the attack, Musk commented on X that the individual “picked the wrong vehicle for a terrorist attack” because the “Cybertruck actually contained the explosion and directed the blast upwards.”
