New reports signal Donald Trump is seriously considering delaying his long-anticipated 2024 presidential campaign announcement.

After months of eyeing Labor Day weekend as the target launch date for a 2024 campaign, Trump has spent the past few weeks backing away from that timeline following the FBI search of his Mar-a-Lago estate and an increased panic among Republicans that the party may not be in for the red wave it has long anticipated this November.
While his timeline could shift again between now and November, the onslaught of political and legal concerns has the former President feeling nervous about prematurely diving into the 2024 primary, according to nine former and current Trump aides and allies who requested anonymity to discuss internal matters.

Otherwise, advisers say, the former President is more likely to be blamed for potential losses in the midterms if he becomes a candidate for president before November and his legal troubles distract from the bread-and-butter issues most Republicans — but especially those running in competitive races — would prefer to focus on.
The Republican Party has been predicted for months to sweep this year’s midterms by capitalizing on a series of blunders from the Biden administration such as the botched Afghanistan withdrawal, record inflation rates, and rising crime. However, analysts have recently reported that Republicans are now expected to win by a smaller margin than originally predicted.
A former Trump campaign aide told the outlet, “There is a direct tie if Trump becomes a campaign ad in November and Republicans lose the Senate, and the last thing he wants is to be blamed.”

I find it hard to accept that many people who are living with high gas prices, empty store shelves, high costs for everything, illegals by the millions, high taxes, and wasteful spending will still support Biden and the Democrats. They don’t seem to understand that everything will get worse unless some controls (namely a Republican Congress) are placed on the Democrats.

President Trump could be intending to announce either just before or just after the mid terms. He WILL outsmart the demonrats one way or another. No matter what they try to do to him, he beats them. All these polls saying republicans will lose is an attempt to discourage Republican voters. DON’T fall for it! Republicans must be out in force voting RED! We can and will take back the house and senate, there is NO other option. If we hope to stop the Obama/Biden agenda, we MUST control both houses. If we don’t, we will lose our country! The vast majority of Americans have been adversely affected by the insane policies of the Biden administration. Two things need to take place in the forthcoming mid-term elections to get us back on the right track. First. The people who do vote (Republicans, Democrats, Independents) must remember when selecting their choice for U.S. Senator or U.S. Representative that Biden could not have destroyed the strongest nation and best economy in the world without the backing of the ultra-liberal Senators and Representatives in Congress. Second. Those people who are eligible to vote but are so damned lazy they won’t get off their sorry a** to cast a ballot need to get a backbone and exercise that right so many millions have given the lives to protect.
We can reverse the ruinous laws, policies, and regulations Biden and the Democrats have enacted, but we can’t do it by refusing to vote or by re-electing the same crowd to Congress that allowed these things to happen in the first place.
It’s sad to have to think this way but, Trump needs to announce that he will NOT run in 2024. Because of the widespread and deep hate for Trump all across this nation, if he does otherwise the republicans will lose. We will continue to be beaten down and controlled by the left wing democrats while they destroy our constitutional republic and install their version of a socialist government. The well being of this nation rests on our shoulders and we must get all republicans out and vote against the democrats in both this November’s election, and the one again in 2024.
