Think you’re wrong about DeSantis and loyalty. Trump doesnt like him, possibly because DeSantis isnt a follower. And Trump endorsed every Republican running in 2020. Doesnt mean they were buddies. Trump is still fixated on election 2020. Many republicans are tired of that because some states have already made strides to correct laws and systems. Also, DeSantis is a politician that knows the general public is Anti Trump. For him to win a 2024 run, he needs the independent and moderate dems. Just because Trump announced first, doesnt ensure a republican candidacy in the run for president. Theres a stain on his name. And hes older. DeSantis is fresh, young, confident, and he needs to stand out far from Trump. You wont see them in agreement. And I don’t think trump will ever endorse DeSantis. If Trump gets ousted in a run with DeSantis, he wont be nice about it. He might even throw razors at DeSantis if DeSantis decides to run against him in order to become the Republican Candidate. I don’t think loyalty ever was there, in either direction.
