Trump PAC Launches DeSantis ‘Pudding Fingers’ Attack Ad

A pro-Trump Super PAC has launched an ad going after Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R).

Last month, left-leaning The Daily Beast reported that DeSantis was struggling to be personable with supporters and staff alike, and two sources told the outlet that the governor was once spotted on a private plane eating a cup of chocolate pudding with three fingers.

The new ad uses the incident to dig at DeSantis — former President Trump’s expected 2024 GOP primary rival — for his previous positions on cutting the social safety net.

“Ron DeSantis loves sticking his fingers where they don’t belong. And we’re not just talking about pudding,” the ad reads over unsettling footage of a faceless man eating chocolate pudding with his fingers.

“DeSantis has his dirty fingers all over senior entitlements, like cutting Medicare, slashing Social Security, and even raising our retirement age.”

“Tell Ron DeSantis to keep his pudding fingers off our money,” the ad finishes, “Oh, and get this man a spoon!”

    1. I voted for him twice and think he did a LOT of good things for the country. This is not good – he’s too damn divisive! Too much ego and very childish!

    2. I voted for Trump but this kind of ad against DeSantis will hurt Trump. Most Trump supporters like DeSantis too. Trump should work with DeSantis not give dems things to use against him. DeSantis has not even declared he is running yet. Stop attaching him.

    3. Trump needs to shut up. DeSantis is a good guy.
He is my governor and is doing an excellent job. Trump is being a jerk. Needs to stop talking bad about a good conservative who has served his country. Trump never served. I will change my vote if his campaign continues nastiness as this.

    4. I’m a Trump supporter; however, I am very disappointed with his childish behavior regarding a great Governor…He needs to remember we’re all on the same team – quit sowing seeds of division.

    5. Thanks, President Trump, for pulling back the curtain on the swamp and its creatures. I’m sorry you had to put up with about seven years worth of attacks so far. But go away, we’ll take it from here.

    6. This Disgusting & Stupid AD is something lik the Liberal Democrats wuld do…..I thought Trump would be above such as this…I would like to remind him that most of we previous supporters find this to be in very Bad Taste and expect better from him, lest he wants to lose some of us if this continues: Just stick to the ISSUES we are concerned about!!!

    7. I think that PAC’s are autonomous, that they run their own ship and that the candidate has no input or control over what they do. Am I wrong on that? Also, I was upset when I saw it too, it’s not something we should do, we’re better than that. Let’s not stoop to the Left’s level.

    8. Any Republican who bases their attacks on other Republicans on non-policy issues is violating Reagan’s 11th commandant. They will lose potential voters with this foolishness.

    9. President Trump always plays to win. Politics is never ever nice. Never. The existential issues, coming in hard from within and from afar, are already choking the soul out of this country. Trump is not THE savior, but he has shown us throughout his life and in his presidency, that he can and will – with our help and backing – get the USA back on track to where we’ll actually have real hope of keeping our country.

I like deSantis a ton, and think he’s one of the best we’ve seen in a long while, but we don’t KNOW how he’d do in the WH or in facing the many international globalist thugs. But we DO know about Trump. And running a state is absolutely not even close to what it takes to “run” the country.

I’ve worked in state govt for 20 yrs and met with enough legislators and agency heads to know that comparing a state governorship to WH president is like Gomer Pyle next to General “Blood and Guts” Patton.

    10. This is why I don’t want Trump to run again. I voted for him twice and he did a lot of great things for our country while he was in office. But he is way TOO DIVISIVE now. Too much ego and arrogance! He should NOT be attacking a good Republican like DeSantis!
