How about requiring ALL schools to to have PROPERLY TRAINED MENTALLY STABLE VOLUNTEER school employees be able to carry CONCEALED weapons in their classrooms and offices? When SECONDS COUNT, POLICE ARE AT LEAST minutes AWAY. By the time the police show up, several people can already be injured or dead.
Properly trained and armed personnel ON SITE will prevent attempts or stop a shooter very quickly.
Campus security:
Armed guards
Employees trained to use guns, Mace, Taser etc.
