“President Biden is the oldest president in U.S. history. Why does the White House staff treat him like a baby?”
White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre became visibly agitated after receiving that question from Fox News Correspondent Peter Doocy.
Doocy asked the provocative question in response to revelations in a new book, claiming White House staff treat the 80-year-old president “like a toddler.”
Fox News has more, including Jean-Pierre’s reaction:
“No one treats the president of the United States, the commander in chief, like a baby. That’s ridiculous. It’s a ridiculous claim,” Jean-Pierre responded.
Doocy cited an upcoming book by The Atlantic’s Franklin Foer, “The Last Politician: Inside Joe Biden’s White House and the Struggle for America’s Future,” in which the author writes that Biden, after appearing to call for regime change in Russia in March 2022, “fumed to friends about how he was treated like a toddler.”
“Was John Kennedy ever babied like that?” Biden asked, according to the book.
Jean-Pierre dismissed the excerpt, arguing that books inevitably get written about every administration with “a variety of claims.”
When Jean-Pierre attempted to pivot to Biden’s trip to the upcoming G20 summit in India, Doocy brought up a Wall Street Journal Poll showing two-thirds of Democrats believe Biden is too old to run for president.
“Look, here’s what I know. Here’s what I can speak to. I can speak to that – a president who has wisdom. I can speak to a president who has experience. I can speak to a president who has done historic – has taken historic action and has delivered in historic pieces of legislation. And that’s important,” an increasingly impatient Jean-Pierre retorted.

Wonder how much the chief White House gets paid!
All you have to do is observe how many times someone has to lead him off the stage. And to claim how hard he is working when one third of his Presidency he has been on vacation!! I know lots of working people who wish they could have 3 – 4 months a year as paid vacation

there is no finese with her answers when three quarters of our countrys citizens think he is too old to run for president .. and the evidence seems overwhelming , especially with two plus years of gaffs and mistakes and policies which are now under siege as Inflation continues , gas prices remain high , food prices high , interest rates rising , and half of our nation is living pay check to pay check .
This is telling democrats that Biden is delusional and the statements he makes about the economy belies belief when average citizen goes food shopping or has to gas up family automobile , or try and purchase a home , this is inflation and a bad economy coming together and the future looks like it will be getting worse next year .. It is time to tell Biden the truth , that his policies have failed from the open borders , to inflation , to crime to the economy , with statements that do not even comport with reality or the truth … Just stating a lie about something that every citizens knows not to be true , is an indication that Biden no longer cares about our nation , and it is not about green energy , and it is not about Trump , it is Biden has lied so seriously about these topics he can no longer be trusted .. I believe he is incapable of change and his policies have been toxic to our nation , where blue states are suffering and asking for help as well as red states , and Biden has used his time , to vacation , not work , forty percent of the time as president …
When press secretary states he runs rings around his staff and is highly energized , only a fool could believe such a myth , after watching Biden these last two years ..
He should retire now , and allow some decent democratic candidate run for the presidency …
