    Trump Responds After New Audio Tapes Discussing Classified Docs Surface

    Donald Trump is in hot water yet again.

    In newly obtained audio former president Donald Trump can be heard discussing classified documents with people not cleared to have access to the highly sensitive information.

    On Monday’s edition of Anderson Cooper 360, the host claimed that the audio from 2021, exposes Trump sharing US military war plans against Iran despite the former president telling Fox News host Bret Baier earlier this month that there was no such document.

    “These are the papers,” Trump can be heard saying in the recording while discussing the Pentagon documents. The former president referenced Chairman of the Joint Chiefs Gen. Mark Milley, who he said had provided a plan of attack for Iran through the Pentagon.

    “He said that I wanted to attack Iran, Isn’t it amazing?” Trump says of Milley. “I have a big pile of papers, this thing just came up. Look. This was him. They presented me this – this is off the record but – they presented me this. This was him. This was the Defense Department and him.”

    “I was just thinking, because we were talking about it. And you know, he said, ‘He wanted to attack Iran, and what…,'” Trump said.

    “These are the papers,” Trump continued.

    A Trump spokesperson responded to the leaked tape Monday night, arguing it proves that Trump committed no crime.

    “The audio tape provides context proving, once again, that President Trump did nothing wrong at all. The President is speaking rhetorically and also quite humorously about a very perverted individual, Anthony Weiner, who was deep inside the corrupt Clinton campaign,” the spokesperson told the Daily Caller. “The media and the Trump-haters once again were all too willing to take the bait, falling for another Democrat-DOJ hoax, hook, line, and sinker.”

    Trump, who is running for another term in the White House, slammed special prosecutor Jack Smith in a Truth Social post and also claimed the audio recording has been manipulated to make Trump look guilty.

    “The Deranged Special Prosecutor, Jack Smith, working in conjunction with the DOJ & FBI, illegally leaked and ‘spun’ a tape and transcript of me which is actually an exoneration, rather than what they would have you believe,” he said in a post on Truth Social. 

    “This continuing Witch Hunt is another ELECTION INTERFERENCE Scam,” Trump added. “They are cheaters and thugs!”

    Police Arrest Democrat Lawmaker After Allegedly Vandalizing Trump Supporter’s Property

    Rhode Island police reportedly arrested a Democrat state lawmaker last week for allegedly keying a Trump supporter’s vehicle.

    According to The Daily Wire, Cranston Police placed State Senator Joshua Miller (D) in custody after he was accused of “keying” an SUV in the Garden City Center parking lot around 3:30 p.m.

    The vehicle’s owner identified the 69-year-old politician to authorities after suspecting him of allegedly damaging the car, claiming they saw a man standing beside their vehicle holding a keychain and gripping a single key while quickly walking away after confronting him about the incident.

    The unidentified victim noticed a vehicle parked near his with a “Re-elect Senator Josh Miller” bumper sticker. Following the incident, the victim looked up Miller online and identified him as the suspect to authorities. However, Millier initially denied any wrongdoing.

    “He was blocking my way, saying I scratched his car, I didn’t scratch his car,” Miller said in a video posted on social media. “I’m a state senator — I think he’d recognize. I think he’s one of the gun nuts.”

    An unidentified male in the video responded, saying he doesn’t “know any of the senators, to be honest.”

    Miller appeared to admit the crime to police after an officer showed up at his house saying police obtained video of the incident.

    Miller was charged with vandalism and malicious injury to property and was released on $1,000 personal recognizance.

    “Nobody is above the law, including those who make and enforce the laws,” Cranston Police Chief Michael Winquist said in a news release Friday. “The officers who handled this investigation did so with fairness, integrity, and without preferential treatment.”

    Rhode Island GOP Chairman Joe Powers said Miller should leave office after the arrest.

    “This behavior is unbecoming of anyone holding a leadership position,” Powers wrote on Twitter. “State Senator Joshua Miller has proven once again the he does not have the composure required to represent every constituent in his district and must resign immediately.”

    Cranston Police Col. Michael Winquist on Tuesday told local media that city attorneys are now also “looking at a possible obstruction-of-justice charge” for the 69-year-old politician.

    Winquist added that he and city solicitor Christopher Millea “had a discussion about if that charge is appropriate and the elements of the crime are there.”

    DeSantis Lays Out Border Plan During Texas Campaign Stop

    Republican presidential candidate Ron DeSantis unveiled his plans to address illegal immigration and the border crisis on Monday.

    Following in rival candidate Donald Trump’s footsteps the Florida governor also pledged to end birthright citizenship if elected President.

    “We will take action to end the idea that the children of illegal aliens are entitled to birthright citizenship if they are born in the United States,” the plan, which is titled “No Excuses,” reads. 

    “Dangling the prize of citizenship to the future offspring of illegal immigrants is a major driver of illegal migration. It is also inconsistent with the original understanding of 14th Amendment, and we will force the courts and Congress to finally address this failed policy.” 

    Last month, Trump vowed to end birthright citizenship for children born in the U.S. to parents who entered the country illegally. 

    However, constitutional experts have raised concerns over the plan, arguing the President does not have the authority to end birthright citizenship because it is enshrined in the Constitution. The 14th Amendment grants citizenship to those “born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof.”

    DeSantis argued in its plan that current practice is “inconsistent with the original understanding of 14th Amendment.” 

    DeSantis also vowed to end catch-end-release, reimpose the Remain in Mexico policy, increase border patrol pay and penalties for human trafficking, and sanction and restrict visas of citizens from countries who do not accept deportees on “day one. 

    “I have listened to people in DC for years and years and years, going back decades. Republicans and Democrats always chirping about this, and yet never actually bringing the issue to a conclusion,” DeSantis told a crowd in Eagleton, Texas, announcing the plan on Monday. 

    “So what we’re saying is no excuses on this,” he continued. “Get the job done. Make it happen. We want results. We don’t want hollow rhetoric. We don’t want empty promises. When we go in on day one, we’re going to marshal every bit of authority that we have.” 

    The Trump campaign was quick to respond to DeSantis’s immigration platform, accusing the governor of “copying” the former president.

    Poll Shows Concerning News For Trump’s Lead

    A new poll suggests Republican voters are increasingly concerned about Donald Trump’s multiple indictments as the candidate competes for the party’s nomination for president.

    A new NBC poll shows that nearly half of GOP voters surveyed are skeptical over whether Trump should continue to lead the Republican Party

    A new NBC poll shows a majority of Republican voters would vote for Trump in the Republican primary, with 51% listing him as their top choice. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis came in second with 22% of the votes and former Vice President Mike Pence was third with 7%. 

    These new numbers come in comparison to how the candidates fared with GOP voters in April, shortly after Trump was indicted in New York in connection to hush-money payments made in 2016. About 46% of Republican voters supported Trump then and 31% said they were backing DeSantis. 

    After pleading not guilty to 37 federal charges related to his handling of classified documents at his Mar-a-Lago estate in June, a combined total of 77% of GOP primary voters said the federal charges gave them either minor concerns (14%) or no real concerns (63%). About 64% of Republican voters also said the various indictments and investigations Trump faces are politically motivated.

    However, in a hypothetical Trump-Biden battle, President Biden came out on top with a near majority of the vote (49%). Trump received 45% support. However, a total of 68% of those surveyed stated Biden’s mental and physical health was a major/moderate concern for them.

    MAGA Congresswomen Clash Over Biden Impeachment Move

    Tensions between MAGA Congresswomen Marjorie Taylor Greene (Ga.) and Lauren Boebert (Colo.) have reached a fever pitch.

    Greene called Boebert a “little bitch” amid GOP frustration at the Colorado Republican’s move to try and force a vote on impeaching President Biden.

    On Wednesday, Boebert approached Greene over statements she made earlier in the day for critiquing her move to force an impeachment vote. Greene then accused Boebert of copying her own articles of impeachment against President Biden, which Greene had previously asked her to co-sponsor.     At one point, Greene called Boebert a “little bitch” according to reports from left-leaning publication The Daily Beast.

    Greene confirmed the exchange, later telling reporters that the Daily Beast’s story — including the name-calling — was “surprisingly accurate.”

    Greene expanded on her frustration with Boebert while speaking to reporters at the Capitol.

    “I have defended her when she’s been attacked. She and I have virtually the same voting record. We’re both members of the House Freedom Caucus. We should be natural allies,” Greene said. “But for some reason, she has a great skill and talent for making most people here not like her. And so, it’s her issue.”

    Greene said she supported Boebert’s impeachment articles because she also wants to impeach Biden, but she critiqued her approach. Boebert’s move to force a vote caught many of her colleagues by surprise.

    “She didn’t talk to anyone about it. She didn’t come to the conference [meeting]. She didn’t address it with anybody. She copied my articles of impeachment, refused to cosponsor mine,” Greene said.

    DeSantis Snaps When Asked If He Will Support Trump As 2024 GOP Nominee

    The claws are out.

    Florida Governor Ron DeSantis had a combative response when asked if he would support Donald Trump if he ultimately becomes the 2024 Republican presidential nominee.

    “What I would say is this. When you are saying that [former New York Gov. Andrew] Cuomo did better on COVID than Florida did, you are revealing yourself to just be full of it,” DeSantis said, responding to the question at a press conference on Thursday. 

    “Nobody believes that,” he added to applause. “And you know why I know that? Because I remember in 2020 and 2021 when he was praising Florida for being open, saying we did it much better than New York and Michigan, and everyone was coming to Florida, and that we were one of the great governors in the United States.”

    DeSantis then circled back to the original question and said, “It’s like, I want to beat Biden, okay? I will do that. I will get that done. And I think more importantly than that, I will actually bring these policies for a landing and get it all done up there.”

    “But it’s an important process and you respect the process and you respect the people’s decisions, how this goes, but I’m very confident that those decisions are going to be positive for us,” he said. 

    The Florida governor’s remarks come as Trump’s campaign has moved in recent days to attack the governor over his handling of the coronavirus pandemic. 

    GOP Congresswoman Makes Anti-Biden Move

    MAGA Congresswoman Lauren Boebert (R) is forcing a House vote on impeaching President Biden over his handling of the U.S.-Mexico border and immigration policy later this week.

    Walking off the House floor Tuesday, Boebert said that while House GOP leadership was aware she would make the privileged motion soon, according to The Hill.

    A notice from House Democrat Whip Katherine Clark (D-Mass.) on Tuesday indicated that Democrats will make a motion to table the resolution when it comes up for a vote on the floor, a procedural move that would block the resolution from coming to the floor for a vote.

    The Colorado Congresswoman introduced two impeachment resolutions against Biden earlier this month.

    In the first impeachment article, Boebert charges that Biden “knowingly presided over an executive branch that has continuously, overtly, and consistently violated Federal immigration law by pursuing an aggressive, open-borders agenda,” saying the U.S. allowed a high number of migrants released into the country “without the intention or ability to ensure that they appear in immigration court to face asylum or deportation proceedings.”

    In the second impeachment article, Boebert’s resolution points to deportation cases being at historic lows, and deaths caused by fentanyl.

    Boebert did not predict whether her impeachment articles would pass or not.

    “We’ll see. I mean, I hope that Republicans and Democrats alike can recognize the invasion that’s taking place at our southern border, and that the laws of our nation are not being faithfully executed, and that we have an opportunity to bring a check and a balance to the invasion that’s going on,” Boebert said.

    Durham Testifies FBI Rejected Warnings Of Clinton’s Plan To Link Trump To Russia

    On Wednesday, Special Counsel John Durham testified before Congress that the FBI ignored key intelligence reports from 2016 linking the Hillary Clinton campaign to a scheme to tie then-presidential candidate Donald Trump to Russia.

    Durham testified publicly for the first time before the House Judiciary Committee according to Fox News. His testimony comes just weeks after releasing a report that ruled the Justice Department (DOJ) and FBI erred in launching the Trump-Russia investigation.

    When asked about his findings, Durham said the FBI failed to “sufficiently scrutinize information it received” and also noted the agency applied a double standard to the opposing political campaigns.

    “The FBI was too willing to accept and use politically funded and uncorroborated opposition research, such as the Steele dossier,” Durham said. “The FBI relied on the dossier and FISA applications, knowing there was likely material originating from a political campaign or political opponent.”

    He added that the FBI “did so even after the president of the United States, the FBI and CIA directors and others received briefings about intelligence suggesting that there was a Clinton campaign plan underway to stir up a scandal tying Trump to Russia.”

    Durham’s report found the FBI “failed to act on what should have been — when combined with other incontrovertible facts — a clear warning sign that the FBI might then be the target of an effort to manipulate or influence the law enforcement process for political purposes during the 2016 presidential election.”

    “Whether or not the Clinton plan intelligence was based on reliable or unreliable information, or was ultimately true or false it, it should have prompted FBI personnel to immediately undertake an analysis of the information and to act with far greater care and caution when receiving, analyzing, and relying upon materials of partisan origins, such as the Steele Reports, and the Alfa Bank allegations,” Durham’s report stated.

    Durham’s public testimony was part of a lengthy House hearing in which he defended his years-long investigation into the matter.

    Democrats largely used the hearing to attack Durham, with some lawmakers labeling him a “political hack” and warning that his reputation is “damaged” due to getting “involved with Donald Trump.”

    Fox News Panelist Exits ‘The Five’

    Fox News is making some changes.

    Fox News contributor Geraldo Rivera announced that he will no longer be a panelist on the network’s roundtable opinion show, The Five.

    “My last scheduled show appearances are Thursday and Friday June 29th and 30th,” Rivera tweeted Wednesday morning. “It’s been a great run and I appreciate having had the opportunity. Being odd man out isn’t always easy. For the time being, I’m still Correspondent at Large.”

    As a rotating panelist on The Five, Rivera was known for regularly clashing with his right-leaning co-hosts.

    So far it’s unclear who the network plan to replace Rivera with.

    The announcement comes nearly a month after the network suddenly cut ties with primetime host Tucker Carlson days after agreeing to a nearly $800 million settlement with Dominion Voting Systems.

    Trump Reacts to Hunter Biden Plea Deal

    Former President Donald Trump is not holding back on Hunter Biden’s “slap on the wrist.”

    The presidential candidate reacted to the news President Biden’s son Hunter has reportedly reached a plea deal to plead guilty to two federal misdemeanor counts of failing to pay his taxes and reached a diversion agreement related to the unlawful possession of a weapon.

    “They gave him a traffic ticket and cleared everything up,” Trump told Fox News Digital after Biden’s plea deal was announced. “It is a disgrace to the system, it is a disgrace to America, it is a very unfair situation, it is prosecutorial misconduct, and it is election interference — all wrapped up into one.”

    “This is a corrupt justice system and a corrupt FBI,” Trump said, adding that one of his family members would likely be facing “hundreds of years.”

    Donald Trump Jr., the former president’s son, also decried the Justice Department’s “double standard” in his own statement.

    “The blatantly politicized nature of Joe Biden’s Justice Department under AG Garland couldn’t be more clear today,” Trump Jr. wrote in a statement. “The plea deal that they cut with Hunter Biden reeks of favoritism and brazenly reveals a system where there are two-tiers of Justice, wholly dependent on your political affiliation.”

    Hunter’s criminal counsel, Chris Clark of Clark Smith Villazor, said that “with the announcement of two agreements between my client, Hunter Biden, and the Unites States Attorney’s Office for the District of Delaware, it is my understanding that the five-year investigation into Hunter is resolved.”

    “Hunter will take responsibility for two instances of misdemeanor failure to file tax payments when due pursuant to a plea agreement,” Clark said. “A firearm charge, which will be subject to a pretrial diversion agreement and will not be the subject of the plea agreement, will also be filed by the Government.”

    Biden has been under federal investigation since 2018. 

    However, the Biden family is still having an investigation by the House Oversight Committee.

    Rep. James Comer’s (R-Ky.) investigation has most recently focused on the FBI-generated FD-1023 form alleging a criminal bribery scheme between then-Vice President Joe Biden and a foreign national that involved influence over U.S. policy decisions.
