    Maher Sounds Alarm – Trump Could Flip Marijuana Issue On Democrats

    On Friday’s Real Time with Bill Maher, the long-time cannabis advocate gave credit where credit’s due — to Donald Trump.

    Maher acknowledged Trump’s emerging strategy to reschedule marijuana from Schedule I to Schedule III. It’s not full legalization, but it’s a significant shift that would loosen federal restrictions and move the ball forward on reform.

    He didn’t mince words. “I’ve been telling Democrats for years, the Republicans are gonna steal pot from you as an issue,” Maher said, half-joking, half-dead-serious.

    WARNING: EXPLICIT LANGUAGE

    What’s notable here isn’t just the policy — it’s who’s moving on it. Trump, once again, is positioning himself as a disruptor who knows how to cut through noise and win over voters issue by issue.

    Decider offers more information on Maher’s grudging respect for Trump’s “genius” strategy:

    He drove it home with a riff on Trump’s playbook: “He’s the master at winning votes from small groups who are passionate about one issue, picking up a couple percent here, a couple there…” until Election Night turns into something like a bizarre Y-M-C-A celebration.

    And when it comes to timing, Maher confessed—with tongue in cheek—that Trump finally swung by his own camp. “Finally, he got around to me,” he teased during his “New Rules” segment—comparing his own potential shift to that of single-issue Black voters who helped Trump make gains in key cities.

    “What did you expect?” he shrugged. “He’s the master…” And amid all of this, Trump has already said he’ll have a decision on cannabis rescheduling “in the next few weeks”—a move that would send seismic ripples through the cannabis industry and potentially benefit Maher personally, since he co-owns The Woods, a West Hollywood consumption lounge.

    Maher, who still identifies as a Democrat but often breaks ranks — especially with the woke crowd — used the moment to throw up a red flag to his own party. He warned that if Democrats keep dragging their feet, Republicans could flip the script and claim an issue long seen as their turf.

    For all his usual sarcasm, Maher’s comments carried real weight: a unenthusiastic but clear nod to Trump’s political instincts — and a warning shot to Democrats who think this base-level issue is locked up.

    Former Bravo reality TV star Jennifer Welch went on an expletive-filled rant demanding people who voted for President Donald Trump three times be banned from Mexican and Chinese restaurants on Thursday.

    “I’ve had it with White people that triple Trumped that have the nerve and the audacity to walk into a Mexican restaurant, a Chinese restaurant, an Indian restaurant, go to perhaps their gay hairdresser,” Welch commented on her podcast “I’ve Had It.”

    She recalled an instance of seeing “MAGA-looking people” at a Mexican restaurant and said they had “a lot of f—ing nerve” given the Trump administration’s immigration policies.

    “Frankly, I don’t think you should be able to enjoy anything but Cracker Barrel,” Welch said. “If you want to triple Trump, if you want to browbeat DEI, if you want to browbeat gay people, you want to browbeat Black people, as you have been doing for four hundred years. And you want to browbeat this generation of immigrants that come over here and open up business earnestly and pay their taxes.”

    Welch continued by attacking Trump as a “teeny-weeny mushroom c— piece of s— Cankles McTaco Tits.”

    She added, “White people that triple Trumped should be banned, boycotted from enjoying the best thing that America has to offer, which is multiculturalism. Get your fat a– out of the Mexican restaurant. Get your fat a– over to Cracker Barrel because nobody wants to see your f—ing smug a– teeny-weeny, pink arm, big gut around. Nobody wants to see that s—. No one.”

    Her co-host Angie “Pumps” Sullivan said she “completely” agreed and went one step further by attacking female Trump voters.

    “I want you to give up a credit card in your name,” Sullivan said. “I want you to give up the bank account in your name. And I want you to be completely beholden to a man. I don’t want you to work. I want you to stay home and make cornflakes from scratch for that f—er because that’s what you’re voting for.”

    She continued, “When they’re talking about the golden age and ‘let’s make America great again,’ they’re talking about you having less rights than men, not be able to have a credit card, not being able to own anything in your own name. So, triple Trump country club Christian White women, you should have to forfeit those luxuries.”

    In a comment to Fox News, White House spokesperson Abigail Jackson attacked Welch’s comments as “out of touch with reality” based on Trump’s “historically diverse coalition.”

    “Rich liberal white women love to pretend to be champions of diversity until they are confronted by diversity of thought. President Trump was elected by a historically diverse coalition of Americans from all races, religions, and orientations. As per usual this reality star is out of touch with reality,” Jackson said.

    Charlamagne Reveals Who He Wants To Run In 2028

    Charlamagne Tha God revealed his choice for president in 2028 — and it’s fellow political media personality Jon Stewart.

    The Breakfast Club radio host recently shared his political hopes during a sit-down with Fox News host Lara Trump, who is also the daughter-in-law of President Donald Trump. She has been hosting a Fox News show since late February. This interview is set to air this Saturday on Fox News at 9 p.m.

    “I would love to see Jon Stewart run in 2028. If we’re talking about like a change agent coming from the outside that’s really going to shake things up and somebody that I feel like can speak to, you know, all people, plus we actually, he’s a celebrity who actually knows what they’re talking about,” he said.

    “We’ve seen him get legislation and stuff, you know, passed before, like, we know where his heart is, he’d be somebody I’d like to see really get in the race and disrupt things in 2028. Maybe a Jon Stewart-Colbert ticket, because, you know, Colbert’s not going to have a job. He’s not working because of President Trump, so they say.”

    Stewart, who returned to The Daily Show in a part-time capacity a year and a half ago, has long been admired by both fans and lawmakers for his advocacy on veterans’ health care and 9/11 first responder legislation. However, Stewart has consistently expressed zero presidential ambitions.

    Earlier this week, former vice president Kamala Harris further fueled 2028 White House rumors when she announced she will not run for governor of California.

    “In recent months, I have given serious thought to asking the people of California for the privilege to serve as their Governor. I love this state, its people, and its promise. It is my home. But after deep reflection, I’ve decided that I will not run for Governor in this election,” Harris said in a statement. 

    The former vice president said she spent time reflecting over the past six months since losing in November after she took over the Democratic ticket when former President Biden dropped out of the race.

    “I have extraordinary admiration and respect for those who dedicate their lives to public service—service to their communities and to our nation. At the same time, we must recognize that our politics, our government, and our institutions have too often failed the American people, culminating in this moment of crisis,” Harris said. “As we look ahead, we must be willing to pursue change through new methods and fresh thinking—committed to our same values and principles, but not bound by the same playbook.”

    Former ABC News Correspondent Admits Network Is Biased Against Trump

    The truth finally comes out…

    Former ABC News correspondent Terry Moran recently pulled back the curtain on his previous employer’s outright bias against Trump.

    Moran, who spent nearly 28 years at ABC News, was dropped by the outlet in June after attacking President Donald Trump and White House aide Stephen Miller on social media. He now offers his commentary on Substack and penned a look at the future of CBS News after FCC Chairman Brendan Carr said incoming ownership would implement an ombudsman to “root out the bias” last week when approving a long-planned merger. 

    “Let’s talk about bias. I worked at ABC News for almost 28 years, and I’m proud to say that,” Moran wrote on his Substack on Tuesday. “But: Were we biased? Yes. Almost inadvertently, I’d say. ABC News has the same problem so many leading cultural institutions do in America: A lack of viewpoint diversity.” 

    Moran explained that ABC News was run by “White men” when he joined the network, but the Disney-owned news organization made efforts to increase diversity to change the company “for the better.” 

    “But there was one way ABC did not change and did not diversify. It is no secret. There are hardly any people who supported Donald Trump at ABC News,” Moran wrote. 

    “And this is bound to impact coverage, not so much out of malevolent bias… but more out of what is a kind of deafness,” Moran continued. “The old news divisions don’t hear many of the voices of the country, because those voices aren’t in the newsroom. Yes, news teams go out with a microphone and a camera and accost people at Trump rallies; but to me that often comes off as weirdly anthropological and inaccurate, kind of like trying to understand nature by visiting a zoo.” 

    Moran added that it might “sound strange” coming from someone who was shown the door for an anti-Trump outburst, but he played devil’s advocate to Trump critics inside ABC News.

    “But inside the newsroom, I had a reputation of trying to get colleagues to see the other side, to walk a mile in the shoes of MAGA, to acknowledge the democratic forces that have made Donald Trump the dominant political figure of our time,” Moran wrote. “So, yes, from my perspective, the old news networks are biased.”

    Moran’s firing came less than six weeks after he interviewed Trump as part of a major primetime special for ABC marking Trump’s first 100 days in office. Trump repeatedly chided Moran for his various lines of questioning. 

    Moran was axed by ABC News in June, just before his contract with the network was set to expire, after he called Trump and Miller “world-class” haters. 

    “The thing about Stephen Miller is not that he is the brains behind Trumpism,” Moran began his post. “Yes, he is one of the people who conceptualizes the impulses of the Trumpist movement and translates them into policy. But that’s not what’s interesting about Miller. It’s not brains. It’s bile.”

    “Miller is a man who is richly endowed with the capacity for hatred. He’s a world-class hater,” Moran wrote. “You can see this just by looking at him because you can see that his hatreds are his spiritual nourishment. He eats his hate.”

    Moran’s post went on to also call Trump a “world-class hater” but added that “his hatred [is] only a means to an end, and that end [is] his own glorification. That’s his spiritual nourishment.” 

    Moran has said he doesn’t regret the anti-Trump post on social media.

    Trump Calls For Speedy Deposition From Rupert Murdoch Because He May Die Before Trial

    President Trump’s lawyers are moving to depose Rupert Murdoch, and quickly.

    The president’s attorneys in a new court filing Monday said they wish to speak with the conservative media mogul as part of evidence-gathering efforts in connection with Trump’s lawsuit against The Wall Street Journal, citing concerns about Murdoch’s waning health and advanced age. Murdoch is 94 years old.

    This lawsuit arose from The Wall Street Journal’s article that described an album allegedly compiled by Epstein’s former girlfriend and accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell for his 50th birthday in 2003.

    According to the report, Trump contributed a letter for the birthday collection that included a lewd drawing and referenced the two men sharing a “wonderful secret.” President Trump has dismissed the letter as fake.

    The letter bearing Trump’s name, which was reviewed by the Journal, is crude—like others in the album. It contains several lines of typewritten text framed by the outline of a naked woman, which appears to be hand-drawn with a heavy marker. A pair of small arcs denotes the woman’s breasts, and the future president’s signature is a squiggly “Donald” below her waist, mimicking pubic hair.

    Trump filed the complaint in federal court in Miami earlier this month against the Journal, the Journal’s publishing firm Dow Jones, parent company News Corp, owner Rupert Murdoch, News Corp CEO Robert Thomson, and the two Journal reporters, Safdar and Palazzolo. He alleges two claims, defamation per se and defamation per quod, and demands $10 billion in damages.

    On Monday, Trump filed a motion to compel the expedited deposition de bene esse of Murdoch, a de bene esse deposition is also sometimes called a “preservation deposition,” and is intended to be taken to preserve testimony for trial.

    Law and Crime reports:

    “[T]here is good cause to expedite Murdoch’s deposition, and the Court should exercise its discretion to authorize the same,” the motion for fast-tracked discovery says.

    “Murdoch is 94 years old, has suffered from multiple health issues throughout his life, is believed to have suffered recent significant health scares, and is presumed to live in New York, New York,” wrote Trump lawyer Alejandro Brito. “Taken together, these factors weigh heavily in determining that Murdoch would be unavailable for in-person testimony at trial.”

    In the meantime, though, Trump is demanding crucial testimony from the owner of the Journal, whom Trump apparently failed to persuade not to publish the Epstein exclusive in the first place. The plaintiff insists that Murdoch has an “advantage” that Trump does not have, but that the scales would even out were an expedited deposition to occur.

    “Murdoch has an advantage over President Trump as Murdoch is able to defend himself because he has access to all the information and documents related to the below-defined malicious and defamatory Article, and the decision behind deciding to publish it,” the motion continued. “On the other hand, President Trump has very limited information related to the Article. For these and other reasons that follow, Murdoch would not suffer any prejudice significant enough to outweigh the good cause that exists to grant this Motion.”

    French President Macron Files Lawsuit Against Candace Owens

    On Wednesday, French President Emmanuel Macron filed a lawsuit against podcaster Candace Owens over her repeated claims that his wife, Brigitte, is a man.

    The lawsuit, which was filed in the Superior Court of the State of Delaware, calls Owens’ claims “devastating lies” and adds that the podcast host “disregarded all credible evidence disproving her claim in favor of platforming known conspiracy theorists and proven defamers.”

    In 2024, Owens —who was then a host at Ben Shapiro’s outlet the Daily Wire — boldly stated that she’d stake her “entire professional reputation” on Brigitte Macron being a man. Since then, Owens has repeatedly insisted that the French first lady is a biological man.

    Owens even launched an eight-episode series called “Becoming Brigitte” to further examine the conspiracy theory.

    That series, the suit alleges, is packed with “outlandish, defamatory, and far-fetched fictions” including “that Mrs. Macron was born a man, stole another person’s identity, and transitioned to become Brigitte; Mrs. Macron and President Macron are blood relatives committing incest; President Macron was chosen to be the President of France as part of the CIA-operated MKUltra program or a similar mind-control program; and Mrs. Macron and President Macron are committing forgery, fraud, and abuses of power to conceal these secrets.”

    “These claims are demonstrably false, and Owens knew they were,” the suit states.

    The lawsuit continues:

    This is nothing new for Owens. She has built a brand on provocation, not truth. Owens labels herself as an independent “investigative journalist” while routinely peddling misinformation under the guise of legitimate reporting. She has promoted a range of conspiracy theories, including anti-vaccine falsehoods, long-debunked antisemitic tropes such as blood libel, and Holocaust distortion — going so far as to dismiss the atrocities of Josef Mengele’s medical experiments as mere “propaganda.” Her content is not intended to inform but to inflame and attract attention through sensationalism and conspiracy theories.

    The Macron family, represented by high-profile American law firm Clare Locke, is seeking damages and is demanding a jury trial.

    A spokesman for Owens told Mediaite that she would respond to the suit on Wednesday’s episode of her podcast.

    “Candace will be officially responding to this on her podcast today,” the spokesman said, “as we are just learning about this in the press.”

    Last week, Candace Owens accused President Donald Trump of thinking that his political base is “stupid” on the latest episode of her show, which she opened by calling the Jeffrey Epstein scandal “terminal cancer” for the MAGA movement.

    After comparing the administration’s attempt at moving on from the Epstein scandal to the stories about Hunter Biden that were dismissed by the “Deep State,” Owens accused Trump of “being guilty of gaslighting the public.”

    “It seems like you think your base is stupid. That’s how I feel. I feel like Trump thinks his base is stupid, or, again, because I don’t think he’s pressing send on these messages, the people around him think that Trump is stupid. And that shouldn’t surprise you given the fact that all of these people were ‘Never Trump.’ They were ‘Never Trump.’ Trump is surrounded by people who hate him and have infiltrated his base,” argued Owens, who went on to submit that Trump — or those around him — had decided to give Ukraine more weapons in order to distract from the conversation about Epstein.

    “Operation: Just Give Them More War. Yeah, war as a distraction. Never mind! We can’t talk about Epstein because guys, guess what? Look at this headline: Trump announces an aggressive, or Trump is to announce an aggressive Ukraine weapons plan. Yeah, he already indicated that in that same press conference that there’s just going to be more weapons sent to Ukraine, they’re going to attack Russia. We’re just going to have to have a world war and another reset, I guess. So, you guys just stop talking about Jeffrey Epstein,” she added. “I am telling you that I will be the very last person that will stop talking about Jeffrey Epstein. I will do his entire genealogy backwards and forwards, including everybody around him, get their genealogy, before we let go of this.”

    Tucker Carlson Sets the Record Straight On Trump “Apology” Claim

    During a recent interview with German journalist Paul Ronzheimer, Tucker Carlson—former Fox News host and one of the boldest voices in conservative media—firmly denied reports that he apologized to President Donald J. Trump over criticism regarding U.S. policy toward Iran.

    What Trump Said

    Back on June 18, President Trump, during a candid moment in the Oval Office, reflected on Carlson’s prior criticisms about the administration’s military support for Israel and its proposed response to Iranian aggression. Trump remarked:

    “Tucker is a nice guy. He called and apologized the other day because he thought he said things that were a little bit too strong, and I appreciated that.”

    Tucker: I Didn’t Apologize—But I Still Back Trump

    When asked directly by Ronzheimer whether he did in fact apologize, Carlson didn’t beat around the bush:

    “Okay, no.”

    Carlson went on to clarify:

    “I really like Trump. I campaigned for Trump. I agree with Trump on the issues. I’d be happy to apologize—I’m an apologizer by nature—but I didn’t say anything that would warrant one in this case.”

    In typical Tucker fashion, he emphasized that disagreement among allies is not betrayal. He reaffirmed his longstanding support for President Trump, noting he has always stood by the policies that put America First.

    “I didn’t attack Trump. I disagreed with him, and I said how. That’s not the same thing as an attack, and it’s certainly not something I’d need to apologize for.”

    The Bottom Line: No Rift Here

    Despite what the media may want people to believe, there’s no feud brewing here. Carlson remains a powerful voice in the conservative movement and a staunch ally of President Trump. They may not agree 100% of the time—but they share a vision: strong borders, real national security, and putting American citizens first.

    CNN Commentator Suggests He’ll Run for Senate if Trump Tells Him To

    CNN senior political commentator Scott Jennings signaled that he would run for Sen. Mitch McConnell’s (R-KY) seat in 2026 if President Donald Trump tells him to.

    During an interview with Jennings on the Real America’s Voice show Bolling!, host Eric Bolling asked, “A lot of people are floating your name to take over, to jump into Mitch McConnell’s Senate seat next year in ’26. You thinking about it?”

    “Yeah, I haven’t made any announcements about that,” replied Jennings, who worked as a special assistant for former President George W. Bush. “There’s three people in the race, I know them all, like them all, have been in and out of their lives in varying degrees over the years. I’ve supported them all in various endeavors, so I’m confident the seat will remain Republican.”

    He continued, “I do think politics is a team sport, and I think Trump’s the head coach. And eventually he’s gonna weigh in on this, and my political advice would be to anybody, you know, if he calls a play, we’re gonna have to run it. I wouldn’t want to run against the president in Kentucky. So, I don’t really have any announcement about it at the moment.”

    After Bolling pressed, “If Trump taps you, you’re gonna run?” Jennings said cryptically, “I pay very close attention to everything the president says.”

    McConnell, who has held his Senate seat since 1985, announced in February he would not seek re-election in 2026 amid growing concerns over his health.

    Rep. Andy Barr (R-KY), former Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron, and businessman Nate Morris have all declared their candidacy in the race.

    Trump Threatens Lawsuit Over Wall Street Journal Epstein Story

    President Trump means business…

    President Donald Trump is suing The Wall Street Journal after it published a story about his relationship with deceased financier and sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein.

    The Journal reviewed an album containing 50th birthday greetings to Epstein from his associates in 2003. That album was compiled by Epstein’s friend, Ghislaine Maxwell, who is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence for child trafficking.

    “Pages from the leather-bound album—assembled before Epstein was first arrested in 2006—are among the documents examined by Justice Department officials who investigated Epstein and Maxwell years ago, according to people who have reviewed the pages,” the publication stated. “It’s unclear if any of the pages are part of the Trump administration’s recent review.”

    One of those well-wishers was Trump, who sent Epstein a birthday letter that contained a drawing of a nude woman:

    The letter bearing Trump’s name, which was reviewed by the Journal, is bawdy—like others in the album.     The message also contained an imaginary dialogue between Trump and Epstein:

    “Voice Over: There must be more to life than having everything,” the note began.

    Donald: Yes, there is, but I won’t tell you what it is.

    Jeffrey: Nor will I, since I also know what it is.

    Donald: We have certain things in common, Jeffrey.

    Jeffrey: Yes, we do, come to think of it.

    Donald: Enigmas never age, have you noticed that?

    Jeffrey: As a matter of fact, it was clear to me the last time I saw you.

    Trump: A pal is a wonderful thing. Happy Birthday — and may every day be another wonderful secret.

    Trump denied he drew the photo and threatened to sue the Journal:

    “I’m gonna sue The Wall Street Journal just like I sued everyone else.”

    The Justice Department last week released a memo concluding there was no evidence suggesting the disgraced financier and convicted sex offender kept a “client list” to blackmail high-profile individuals. The memo also found no evidence to suggest foul play in Epstein’s death, which had previously been ruled a suicide.

    The memo spurred fierce backlash from many Trump supporters, who had long called on the government to release material on Epstein that they argue would expose wrongdoing at the highest level of elite circles.

    Trump has brushed aside calls to reveal more information about the Epstein case and has shown increasing frustration when asked about it over the past week.

    “You mentioned past supporters when you were talking about the Epstein issue. Does that mean that you’re effectively disowning any supporters who are now calling—” a reporter asked Trump in the Oval Office on Tuesday.

    Trump cut off the question and added, “I’ve lost a lot of faith in certain people, yeah, I’ve lost. Because they got duped by the Democrats.”

    Tucker Carlson Holds Funeral for Dan Bongino’s Career Following Epstein Outburst

    Is FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino circling the drain? His former Fox News colleague says so.

    On Sunday, former Fox News host Tucker Carlson essentially hosted a funeral for Bongino’s career and credibility after the former Fox contributor reportedly threatened to resign over Attorney General Pam Bondi’s handling of the Jeffrey Epstein files.

    On Culture Apothecary, host Alex Clark asked Carlson to weigh in on the feud.

    “Well, as we’re recording this, Dan Bongino is threatening to resign if Pam Bondi does not resign as AG. What does that tell us, in your opinion?” she inquired.

    “Well, it tells us that Dan Bongino got shafted, completely shafted. And I’m saying this as a friend of his, and someone who respects and likes him, but also just as an observer, I’m an informed observer of it,” replied Carlson. “So Pam Bondi, who’s, by the way, I don’t hate Pam Bondi, she’s a totally nice person. If he was here, you would enjoy-, I don’t know if you know her, but she’s a very nice person. I’m not against Pam Bondi in the slightest. But the fact is she got on television on Fox News and started saying stuff like, ‘I’ve got the client list on my desk!’ And actually, no, you don’t. And, ‘I’ve got thousands of videos of Epstein having sex with kids.’ Well, actually, no, you don’t. Most of the material was commercial porn taken off his computer. Like, that’s just not true. Why did she say that? Probably because she’s insecure and she’s trying to please the audience, I would expect.”

    “Do you think Dan is upset because his integrity is being questioned now over her mistake?” followed up Clark.

    “Of course! Oh my gosh! So you’re Dan, and you’re a media figure, and you’ve got one of the biggest podcasts in the country, and you’re making tons of money, and you’re having a great time — which he was. You just built this brand new studio in Florida, you work with your wife who you really like, which he does, and you get the call saying, ‘You be deputy FBI director,’ and you’re like, ‘I love Donald Trump, I love this country. I will cut my pay into a 10th of what it was, and I will leave my house and move to D.C.,’ which is a kind of prison sentence itself,” answered Carlson. “‘And I will do this because I love the president, I love the country,’ and you’re there a few months, and all of a sudden everybody thinks you’re covering up Epstein’s crimes, and it kind of wrecks Dan’s career. Like he can’t go back-, it’s gonna be very hard at this point, I mean, things may change, but as of today, pretty hard for Dan to go back to his podcast audience and be like, ‘I’m telling you the truth,’ when they all think that he’s covering up for Epstein.”

    “Who did that? Pam Bondi did that,” he added, before going on to say he “feel[s]” for Bongino.

    The Justice Department last week released a memo concluding there was no evidence suggesting the disgraced financier and convicted sex offender kept a “client list” to blackmail high-profile individuals. The memo also found no evidence to suggest foul play in Epstein’s death, which had previously been ruled a suicide.

    The memo spurred fierce backlash from many Trump supporters, who had long called on the government to release material on Epstein that they argue would expose wrongdoing at the highest level of elite circles.

    Dan Bongino, the Deputy Director of the FBI, reportedly threatened to leave the bureau if Attorney General Pam Bondi remains on the job due to her handling of the Epstein files, a source close to Bongino told The Daily Wire.

    One source close to Bongino predicted to Axios, “He ain’t coming back.”

    CNN reports that Trump — who has been desperate to move past the Epstein story — was furious at Bongino, as well as FBI Director Kash Patel. Vice President JD Vance reportedly tried to hammer out a peace between the administration’s top Justice Department officials. But CNN reports that Bongino is still very much hanging by a thread.

    “It remains to be seen if Bongino ultimately resigns, which he told others he was considering,” the CNN report stated. “But sources say his relationship with the White House has become basically untenable. Even if he does not quit now, some inside the administration believe he will not stay in the job long-term.”

    However, President Donald Trump said on Sunday he believes FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino is “in good shape” following a reported clash with Attorney General Pam Bondi.

    “I spoke to him today,” Trump told reporters at Joint Base Andrews. “Dan Bongino, very good guy. I’ve known him a long time. I’ve done his show many, many times. And he sounded terrific actually. No, I think he’s in good shape.”
