Pelosi Calls On Family To Stage Intervention For ‘Wacky’ Trump

Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) thinks Donald Trump needs an intervention.

During a recent interview, the 81-year-old lawmaker called on the former President’s family to immediately stage an intervention

“He knows he’s wacky,” Pelosi told MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell. “He knows he’s an imposter.”

“But I do wish there would be an intervention from his family, assuming they love him beyond the resources … that they would intervene,” she said, adding that she also hoped that the “Republican Party would have an intervention.”

On Thursday, Trump visited Capitol Hill and took part in a series of meetings with Republicans on several issues, including abortion and his legal challenges. According to several GOP senators, the former president will attempt to focus on the economy ahead of the November election.

“They have become a cult to a thug,” she said about the visit. “And that is really a tragedy.”

During her MSNBC interview, Pelosi called the former president “a master of projection.”

“Everything he says about somebody else, whether it’s a judge in the courtroom, a witness, a juror, a member of Congress, a woman, an opponent in an election — everything he says is a projection of his own shortcomings,” she said.

Pelosi previously aired her Trump intervention proposal, in February also called for an intervention due to Trump’s mental health.

Hillary Clinton Endorses Democrat Primary Opponent In Rare Rebuke

      A shocking betrayal…

Former failed Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton made the rare move of endorsing the primary opponent of a sitting House Democrat.

The former secretary of state who remains a vocal influence over the Party opted to endorse George Latimer instead of Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-NY) on Wednesday.

Rep. Jamaal Bowman, Public domain, via Wikimedia Commons

“With Trump on the ballot, we need strong, principled Democrats in Congress more than ever,” wrote Clinton on X, adding:

In Congress, @LatimerforNY will protect abortion rights, stand up to the NRA, and fight for President Biden’s agenda—just like he’s always done.

Make a plan to vote by June 25th!

According to Mediaite, last month CNN’s Manu Raju wrote that it is “the most competitive primary an incumbent House Democrat is facing anywhere in the country.”

Bowman, a progressive Democrat and member of the so-called “Squad,” has faced intense criticism from party colleagues over his strong criticism of Israel during its war against Hamas in Gaza following Oct. 7th.

“He’s gone far enough out that even the left-leaning Israel advocacy group J Street withdrew its endorsement of Bowman in January, complaining that he had crossed a line in putting the blame for the conflict too much on Israel and not on Hamas,” reported Raju in May, adding:

Now even many of Bowman’s fellow New York Democrats in Congress say privately they doubt he will win – but more than that, when asked by CNN, several pointedly refused to say that they want Bowman to win, or that they would support him as the race enters its final month ahead of the June 25 primary.

Bowman was also censured by the House last December after he pulled a fire alarm in an apparent effort to disrupt a vote. Bowman initially claimed he “mistakenly” pulled the alarm while rushing to vote. However, security footage late made public debunked his story. (RELATED: House Votes To Censure Democrat Rep. Report: Billionaires Are Flocking To Trump

        Big news for Trump…

New reports indicate that big names in finance are opting in to support former President Trump despite his controversies.

According to a report from Politico, a number of billionaires are willing to shake off personal concerns about Trump and embrace him for 2024. Some of the titans include Point Bridge Capital founder Hal Lambert, hedge fund executive Nelson Peltz and hotel mogul Robert Bigelow.

“Historically, some of the way Trump treats people doesn’t sit well with them when you have choices, but there’s really not many choices anymore,” Carolina Hurricanes owner Tom Dundon said Wednesday on “FOX & Friends.”

The change in attitude is largely due to Trump’s “pro-business” policies and previous standing on the world stage, Dundon said.

Dundon highlighted the Biden administration’s collective “nonsense” is contributing to growing support for Trump among the Wall Street elite in addition to everyday Americans.

“Some of the things have gotten to where it’s hard to support nonsense,” he told host Brian Kilmeade.

Republican Rep. Predicts Biden Conviction Creates ‘Opening’ For Michelle Obama

Could Hunter Biden’s latest gun conviction have some unintended consequences?

Rep. Andy Ogles (R-Tenn.) suggested in a Fox Business appearance that Hunter Biden’s conviction in the federal gun charges case could create “an opening” for Michelle Obama to make a future bid for the White House.

Ogles responded to the verdict on Fox Business’s “Mornings with Maria” on Wednesday and emphasized the “need to pursue justice” before suggesting President Biden may drop out of the race amid his son’s guilty verdict.

“That being said, I think it also creates an opening for Democrats like Michelle Obama in here. The Biden family can say, ‘Hey, we’re going to take care of our house, we’re going to take care of our son,’ and then allow Michelle Obama to come in and run,” he said.

“Because again, Joe Biden can’t win this election, and they know that they are desperate for another candidate,” Ogles added.

In his Wednesday appearance on Fox Business, Ogles echoed former President Trump’s campaign’s statement on the recent conviction. A campaign spokesperson called Hunter Biden’s conviction was “a distraction” from serious allegations of corruption against the Biden family.

Ogles agreed that the guilty verdict was “absolutely” a distraction.

“Look, obviously we always need to pursue justice. With that being said, the Biden crime family is guilty of taking tens of million dollars from foreign countries. That should be the main topic of conversation. That’s what should be prosecuted and adjudicated in court,” he said.

Ogles is not the first lawmaker to float a potential White House run by Michelle Obama. The former First Lady’s office said earlier this year she “will not be running for president,” saying Obama “supports President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris’ re-election campaign.”

Battleground State Tips To Trump In Latest Poll

          0

New reports indicate Donald Trump is leading in the battleground state of Pennsylvania.

A new Marist College Poll indicates Trump at 47% support and Biden at 45% backing among registered voters in Pennsylvania.

The new poll from Marist, conducted June 3-6, points to problems for Biden with parts of the Democratic Party’s base.

          Fox News has more:

“While still strong, Biden has lost his formidable support among Black voters. 68% break for Biden to 23% for Trump. Biden handily won the support of most Black voters in the 2020 presidential election, 92% to 7% for Trump,” the poll’s release spotlights.

The poll also points to a Trump surge among voters under age 45 in Pennsylvania. Biden carried the group by 24 points in his victory four years ago, but the survey indicates Biden’s edge at just two points over Trump.

However, the survey also highlights that “Trump’s advantage among older voters has evaporated. He carried voters 45 or older by 12 percentage points in 2020. Now, three percentage points separate Trump (48%) and Biden (45%) among this group.”

Trump became the first Republican in nearly three decades to win Pennsylvania when he carried it by a razor-thin margin in his 2016 White House victory over Hillary Clinton. Four years later, Biden narrowly carried his native state en route to defeating Trump and winning the presidency.

Giuliani Says What He Did After Mugshot

Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani is not keeping silent after he was processed by Arizona authorities on Monday.

Giuliani, who also served as Donald Trump’s personal attorney, was indicted in Arizona in connection with a fake electors scheme in which pro-Trump electors attested to the former president’s victory in the state.

            See the mugshot below:

“You are now looking at the latest mugshot of former Mayor Rudy Giuliani,” Kaitlan Collins said on Monday’s edition of The Source on CNN as his mugshot appeared on screen. “He wasn’t processed by Arizona authorities until today. That’s why you’re seeing this photo now. And here’s what he said after he posted the $10,000 and bond.”

Collins then aired a clip of a KPNX Phoenix reporter catching up with Giuliani emerging from the police station where he had just been processed. However, instead of keeping his head down Giuliani directly addressed reporters.

REPORTER: Do you have any regrets about what you did in Arizona after the election?

            GIULIANI: Oh my goodness, no.

            REPORTER: Why not?

GIULIANI: I’m very, very proud of it. There was a substantial amount of vote fraud that went on here that was covered up. Probably one of the biggest conspiracies in American history.

In a statement to Mediaite, a representative for Giuliani alleged the justice system is being “weaponized” against the former mayor and other Trump allies to influence the 2024 presidential election.

“This is yet another example of partisan actors weaponizing the criminal justice system to interfere with the 2024 presidential election through outlandish charges against President Trump and anyone willing to take on the permanent Washington political class,” Ted Goodman said. “Joe Biden and his allies continue to eviscerate the trust and integrity of our criminal justice system in their quest to take down President Trump and hold on to power. Mayor Rudy Giuliani—the most effective federal prosecutor in U.S. history—will be fully vindicated.”

Giuliani has pleaded not guilty to conspiracy, fraud, and forgery charges.

Verdict Reached In Hunter Biden Gun Trial

Minutes ago, Hunter Biden arrived at the Wilmington, Delaware, courthouse following confirmation that a verdict has been reached in his gun trial.

Biden has been found guilty on all three felony charges following three hours of jury deliberation.

“A federal jury has convicted Hunter Biden on all three federal felony gun charges he faced, concluding that he violated laws meant to prevent drug addicts from owning firearms,” CNN reported.

The charges against Biden were as follows:

              • Count One: False Statement Material to Firearms Sale (max prison sentence: 10 years)
              • Count Two: False Statement in Firearms Transaction Record (max prison sentence: 5 years)
              • Count Three: Possession of a Firearm by a Drug User or Drug Addict (max prison sentence 10 years)

Besides 25 years behind bars, the president’s son also faces up to $750,000 in fines.

Legal experts like Oleg Nekritin believe it’s unlikely that Biden will face prison time: “Conviction for this type of crime generally does not result in a prison sentence. Mr. Biden’s calculated risk to try this case is a good one, the court’s venue is in Delaware, where his family is still popular, and the alleged crime does not involve a victim.”

President Joe Biden has previously vowed not to pardon his son.

Trump Takes Part In Influencing Legal Future

              1

Former President Donald Trump is scheduled for a probation interview Monday, a standard part of the sentencing process for those convicted in New York state court.

The interview, aimed at influencing his upcoming sentencing in July, will take place later today.

NBC News has more on the virtual hearing:

The pre-sentencing probation interview will be done over a special virtual network with added security measures, and the interviewer will be a female, according to two sources with knowledge of the situation. The call is not expected to be held over Zoom, those sources added.

Trump, the presumptive Republican presidential nominee, was convicted last month on all 34 felony counts of falsifying business records in the historic case. The probation interview is required by the court as part of the former president’s pre-sentencing report.

Judge Juan Merchan, who is presiding over the hush money case, permitted Blanche to be present for the probation interview after prosecutors did not object. The Trump defense team is scheduled to submit their sentencing recommendation on June 13.

The former president is scheduled to be sentenced for all 34 felony counts in New York on July 11, days before the Republican National Convention begins.

Trump will conduct the interview from Mar-a-Lago in Florida with Blanche by his side.

The probation officer will record Trump’s lack of criminal history, employment record, current financial status, and observations regarding his “physical and mental condition,” all of which Merchan will consider in his sentencing.

Big Tech Leaders Boost Trump To The Tune Of $12 Million At San Francisco Fundraiser

On a bustling Thursday night in San Francisco, former President Donald Trump marked another impressive milestone in his 2024 presidential campaign. The presumptive Republican nominee and front-runner, according to the polls, celebrated a monumental $12 million fundraising haul. The fundraising event, hosted by prominent Silicon Valley figures, David Sacks and Chamath Palihapitiya, highlighted the undeniable shift in the tech industry, an arena traditionally dominated by liberal ideologies.

“These are brilliant guys – AI guys – these are the guys that are doing all the things you read about,” Trump gushed to Fox News Digital. These are just a brilliant group of people. And they can’t relate to Biden because he is a stupid person – and I have a high IQ.”

Gage Skidmore from Surprise, AZ, United States of America, CC BY-SA 2.0 , via Wikimedia Commons

“They don’t like dealing with an IQ that’s like, you know, 1/3 of theirs, because it is a difficult thing when someone has an IQ of 180, it is difficult to deal with a man with an IQ of 70 – or maybe lower,” Trump added, attempting to goad the current president.

Sacks endorsed Trump hours before the high-dollar fundraiser at his multimillion-dollar home, located near the residence of Nancy and Paul Pelosi, symbolizing the growing willingness of certain tech industry leaders to publicly support Trump, a stance that previously rendered individuals persona non grata in Silicon Valley. Known for his business acumen and successful investments, including his status as an angel investor for Facebook, Uber, SpaceX, and Airbnb, Sachs’ support signals a broader acceptance of Trump’s candidacy within a traditionally GOP skeptical community.

Trump told Fox News Digital that Sacks’ “strong” endorsement “is a great testament to what I’ve accomplished.”

“David Sacks — the king of that world — David Sacks and the group that we were with are the most respected people in San Francisco from both a business and high tech standpoint,” Trump told Fox News Digital. “They love our country and they understand what’s happening into the future with technology better than any group, anywhere in the world.”

“One of the primary reasons for the endorsement was the four years that we had in office, which was the best four years ever for high tech, which will play an increasingly important role in the future of our country, especially as it relates to AI and all of the other new and brilliant technologies coming right at this moment,” Trump said. “It is a very exciting time and it is a great honor to have the most brilliant minds supporting, by far, the most brilliant leader.”

“My reasons rest on four main issues that I think are vital to American prosperity, security and stability — issues where the Biden administration has veered badly off course and where I believe President Trump can lead us back,” Sacks said Thursday.

Other guests at Sacks’ Pacific Heights fundraiser included the Winklevoss twins, who successfully sued Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg for allegedly stealing their idea, which later became Facebook.

“He wasn’t the guy I see on TV,” one source told the New York Post. “He was very thoughtful and self-deprecating.” More than 100 guest attended the San Francisco soirée, paying as much as $300,000 a head.

Historically, Silicon Valley has been a bastion of liberal politics, with many tech leaders supporting Democratic candidates and policies. This alignment was driven by shared values around social issues and environmental sustainability. (RELATED: Google Shuts Down Its AI Chatbot ‘Gemini’ For Being Woke And Racist)

However, the dynamics may be changing. The industry’s rapid growth has brought increased scrutiny and regulatory pressures from Democratic lawmakers. Concerns over antitrust actions, data privacy regulations and labor practices have strained relationships between tech giants and the Democratic Party.

In contrast, Trump’s deregulatory stance, pro-business policies and tax reforms align with the interests of a growing number of Silicon Valley insiders.

Congressional Committee Accuses Hunter Biden Of Lying Under Oath

              1

President Joe Biden’s troubled adult son Hunter Biden lied under oath to Congress, which is a prosecutable crime, congressional Republicans accuse in a new release of documents and evidence.

The U.S. House Ways and Means Committee “voted to release over 100 pages of newly obtained evidence, provided to the Committee by Internal Revenue Service (IRS) whistleblowers Gary Shapley and Joseph Ziegler, showing Hunter Biden was not truthful during his sworn testimony before Congress on February 28th, 2024,” Committee Republicans announced in a statement.

“In addition to the evidence showing Hunter Biden’s repeated lies under oath before Congress, the Ways and Means Committee voted to release additional documents that affirm the credibility of the IRS whistleblowers’ sworn testimony and evidence previously released by the Committee, as well as more evidence of the Department of Justice’s (DOJ) obstruction of the IRS investigation into Hunter Biden,” the statement reads.

“Hunter Biden has shown once again he believes there are two systems of justice in this country – one for his family, and one for everyone else. Not only did Hunter Biden refuse to comply with his initial subpoena until threatened with criminal contempt, but he then came before Congress and lied,” said Committee Chairman Jason Smith (R-MO.)

“The Ways and Means Committee’s investigation, and the documents released today, are not part of a personal vendetta against Hunter Biden, but are meant to ensure the equal application of the law,” Smith added.

Smith then noted if Biden lied under oath, he may be criminally prosecuted.

“Lying during sworn testimony is a felony offense that the Department of Justice has prosecuted numerous individuals for in recent years, and the American people expect the same accountability for the son of the President of the United States. Hunter Biden’s lies under oath, and obstruction of a congressional investigation into his family’s potential corruption, calls into question other pieces of his testimony. The newly released evidence affirms, once again, the only witnesses who can be trusted to tell the truth in this investigation are the IRS whistleblowers,” said Smith.

The Committee notes they are releasing:

Complete versions of communications between Hunter Biden and his business associates, thus showing that previously released IRS agent summaries were accurate. You can find the new material here.

Evidence of Assistant U.S. Attorney Leslie Wolf informing IRS investigators’ that they were unable to pursue Kevin Morris as a witness in the Hunter Biden investigation after receiving a classified briefing at CIA headquarters. The new evidence shows that despite requests from investigators to understand the reason why they were unable to pursue Kevin Morris as a witness, DOJ never provided investigators with the requested information.

In a statement, Committee Republicans laid out the alleged lies Biden told while testifying under oath, writing:

The new evidence indisputably shows Hunter Biden lied to Congress in at least three separate instances during his February 28, 2024 transcribed interview:

Lie # 1: “I sent the text to the wrong Zhao”

During his deposition, Committee investigators questioned Hunter Biden about the now infamous WhatsApp message he sent to a business associate at the Chinese energy company, CEFC, stating, “I’m sitting here with my father, and we would like to understand why the commitment has not been fulfilled.” In the months that followed, $5 million flowed from CEFC affiliates to companies connected to Hunter and James Biden, the President’s brother.

Hunter Biden’s Sworn Testimony: “The Zhao that this is sent to is not the Zhao that was connected to CEFC” and he “had no understanding or even remotely knew what the hell I was even Goddamn talking about.”

The Truth: According to phone records of Hunter Biden’s WhatsApp messages released by the Ways and Means Committee today, the President’s son communicated with only one “Zhao” – Raymond Zhao – in that exchange. Not only did the same Zhao respond, but his message indicates he knew exactly what Hunter Biden was talking about, and that Hunter Biden continued to communicate with the same “Zhao” phone number for an additional three months regarding matters related to CEFC.

Lie # 2: “Neither of these accounts were under [Hunter Biden’s] control nor affiliated with him”:

According to Hunter Biden’s business associate, Devon Archer, he and Hunter Biden were equal owners of Rosemont Seneca Bohai, and that entity was used by both individuals. According to evidence provided by the IRS whistleblowers, Hunter Biden was the beneficial owner of the entity’s associated bank account, which was used to receive Hunter’s salary from Burisma and to receive foreign wires, such as funds allegedly transferred from a Kazakhstani individual through an entity that were then used to purchase a Porsche for Hunter Biden. Congressional investigators questioned Hunter Biden during his February 28th deposition regarding his connection to Rosemont Seneca Bohai, as well as bank accounts associated with the entity.

Hunter Biden’s Sworn Testimony: Neither Rosemont Seneca Bohai, nor its associated bank accounts, were “under my control nor affiliated with me” and Hunter, “didn’t even know that there was such a thing” in reference to a corporate secretary of the entity.

The Truth: Evidence obtained by the Committee and released today from IRS investigator Joseph Ziegler shows otherwise. Not only is there documentation that Hunter Biden was the beneficial owner of a bank account in the name of Rosemont Seneca Bohai,  but the Committee has obtained a signed document where Hunter Biden affirms, “I, Robert Hunter Biden, hereby certify that I am the duly elected, qualified and acting Secretary of Rosemont Seneca Bohai, LLC” in order to enter into a contract on behalf of the entity with Porsche Financial Services.

Lie # 3: “I’d never pick up the phone and call anybody for a visa”:

During his deposition, Committee investigators questioned Hunter Biden regarding what services he provided to Burisma during his tenure on the board of the Ukrainian company. One of the services that Burisma allegedly needed, was work related to obtaining a U.S. visa for the CEO of Burisma. Congressional investigators questioned Hunter Biden under oath regarding his work for Burisma, and his testimony reveals a potential attempt to conceal he was actively using his name and father’s influence to aid foreign nationals in obtaining visas from the U.S. government.

Hunter Bidens’ Sworn Testimony: Hunter Biden stated he was unwilling to provide “any work as it related to visas that they needed.” In fact, he stated unequivocally that he’d “never pick up the phone and call anybody for a visa.”

The Truth: The Committee has obtained and made public today an email communication between Devon Archer, Hunter Biden, and Ukrainian associates in which, in response to concerns about the revocation of Nikolay Zlochevsky’s, the CEO of Burisma, U.S. visa and the resulting limitations on his foreign travel, Archer stated, “Hunter is checking with Miguel Aleman to see if he can provide cover to Kola on the visa.” “Kola” being Nikolay Zlochevsky. Archer also tells Vadim Pozharskyi to “please send Hunter an email with all Kola’s passport and visa documents and evidence and copy me. We’ll take it from there.” These documents show that Hunter Biden did in fact do work on visa issues.
