Recently, Donald Trump’s nephew Fred announced he will vote for Kamala Harris this November.

“I believe in policy over politics, and without question, Kamala Harris’s policies are what I get behind,” he said in an interview on “The View.” “So I will be voting for Kamala Harris.”

“And if I’m asked, I will campaign for her without hesitation,” he added.

Fred Trump and his sister, Mary, have been vocal critics of their uncle.

In an ABC News interview earlier Tuesday, he called the former president’s way of doing things “complex and sometimes cruel.”

Fred Trump was promoting his new book, “All in the Family: The Trumps and How We Got This Way,” which features “never-before-told stories” about the Trump family and Fred Trump’s complex relationship with the former president.

During one of his trips to the Oval Office, Fred Trump claimed his uncle suggested those with disabilities “should just die.” He said a similar incident occurred on a phone call with Trump to tell him the medical fund set up by the family for his son, William, who has a disability, was running low.

Fred Trump claimed the President then reportedly told his nephew his son “doesn’t recognize you. Let him die and move to Florida.”

Trump communications director Steven Cheung denied Fred Trump’s claims in a statement to The Hill.

“This is completely fabricated and total fake news of the highest order,” he said. “It is appalling a lie so blatantly disgusting can be printed in media. Anyone who knows President Trump knows he would never use such language, and false stories like this have been thoroughly debunked.

So the saying goes, “those who can’t do, teach.”

It seems that recently ousted Wyoming Congresswoman Liz Cheney has accepted a position with The University of Virginia as a professor at its Center for Politics.

According to The Hill, Cheney will participate in university-wide lectures, serve as a guest lecturer in student seminars, contribute to the department’s research, and participate in university and community events.

“With democracy under fire in this country and elsewhere around the world, Liz Cheney serves as a model of political courage and leadership,” the center’s director, Larry Sabato, said in a statement.

“Liz will send a compelling message to students about integrity. She’s a true profile in courage, and she was willing to pay the price for her principles — and democracy itself.”

Cheney, the daughter of former Vice President Dick Cheney, was vice chairwoman of the House select committee that investigated the Jan. 6., 2021 attack at the Capitol. The Republican lawmaker was also one of the 10 House Republicans who voted to impeach Trump for his role in the riot.

In a statement, Cheney, who lost her primary to Trump-endorsed Harriet Hageman after becoming a leading critic for former President Trump within her party, expressed her excitement with her new role, saying that “preserving our constitutional republic is the most important work of our time, and our nation’s young people will play a crucial role in this effort.”

“There are many threats facing our system of government and I hope my work with the Center for Politics and the broader community at the University of Virginia will contribute to finding lasting solutions that not only preserve but strengthen our democracy.,” Cheney added.

Cheney’s appointment with the department is effective immediately and will run through the fall 2023 semester, with an option to renew for one or more additional years.

Critics of the former Congresswoman reacted on Twitter.

Judge Again Blocks Biden From Violating 1st Amendment

ANALYSIS – Even when presented with overwhelming evidence that Team Biden colluded intimately with Big Tech social media companies to censor conservative Americans, the White House doubled down on violating the 1st Amendment.

As I wrote last week, on July 4th a federal judge blocked “federal agencies from communicating with Big Tech firms to censor posts.”

This, after a lawsuit against the Biden administration by three Republican state Attorney Generals (AGs).

According to the judge, Terry A. Doughty, the AGs “have produced evidence of a massive effort by Defendants, from the White House to federal agencies, to suppress speech based on its content.”

“If the allegations made by plaintiffs are true, the present case arguably involves the most massive attack against free speech in United States history,” Doughty wrote in his preliminary injunction against more than 40 administration officials.

“In their attempts to suppress alleged disinformation, the federal government, and particularly the defendants named here, are alleged to have blatantly ignored the First Amendment’s right to free speech.”

Please note – ‘disinformation’ is any information the left and Team Biden don’t like.

This is serious constitutional stuff. One would think the White House might say, “ok, we overstepped a bit.”

But not Team Biden.

Using the Orwellian doublespeak, the left always uses to hide the truth, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said: “We are going to continue to promote responsible actions.”

She added: “That is something that we’re going to continue to do to make sure we protect public health and make sure there is safety and security.”

Using similar verbiage, the Department of Justice announced later that same day that it would appeal the decision, to protect public health, safety, and security.

Basically, Team Biden said, we don’t care, we want to keep violating the Constitution and censoring our opponents. And we are going to request an emergency order from the judge to do it.

The Daily Caller reported:

Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey and Louisiana Attorney General Jeffrey Landry opposed the Biden administration’s attempt to stop the injunction in a court filing Sunday, writing the administration was essentially asking to “continue violating the First Amendment.”

“In essence, Defendants argue that the injunction should be stayed because it might interfere with the Government’s ability to continue working with social-media companies to censor Americans’ core political speech on the basis of viewpoint,” they wrote in the court filing. “In other words, the Government seeks a stay of the injunction so that it can continue violating the First Amendment.”

Thankfully, on Monday the same federal judge blocked Biden again, denying the administration’s attempt to pause the injunction.

The Washington Post reported that Judge Doughty noted again that the plaintiffs (the state AGs) would likely succeed in proving the government colluded with social media companies “to engage in viewpoint-based suppression of protected free speech.”

Responding to the hysteria surrounding his initial injunction, Doughty also wrote:

Although this Preliminary Injunction involves numerous agencies, it is not as broad as it appears. “It only prohibits something the Defendants have no legal right to do—contacting social media companies for the purpose of urging, encouraging, pressuring, or inducing in any manner, the removal, deletion, suppression, or reduction of content containing protected free speech posted on social-media platforms.

Rejecting the administration’s argument that the order could chill law enforcement activity to protect national security, the judge added that It also contains numerous exceptions for communications related to criminal activity, explicit dangers to national security, and foreign election interference.

Meanwhile, this important battle will continue as the AGs’ lawsuit works its way through the legal system.

Trump Bucks Judge With Courtroom Monologue

In the end, former President Donald Trump spoke to the court from the defense table in his civil fraud trial.

Trump’s remarks came during closing arguments, which remain ongoing.

“The facts are the financial statements are perfect, that there are no witnesses against us. The banks got all their money paid back. There were great loans,” Trump maintained, echoing remarks he has previously made in public.

Trump spoke for approximately five minutes before accusing Judge Arthur Engoron of having his own agenda.

“I certainly understand that,” the GOP front-runner persisted. “You can’t listen for more than one minute.”

At that point, Engoron told one of Trump’s lawyers to “control your client.” The judge eventually cut Trump off.

Engoron ruled on Wednesday that he wouldn’t allow Trump to speak during his attorneys’ closing arguments because he wouldn’t agree to avoid personal attacks.

NBC News further reports on the unprecedented courtroom display:

Speaking from the table sitting next to his lawyers, Trump spoke to denying all wrongdoing while Engoron quietly listened.

Trump maintained that banks “got all their money back” and “they weren’t defrauded” while repeating his call to receive damages “for what we’ve gone through.”

The former president accused James’ office of not providing one document proving her allegations of inflating his financial statements and argued that the case presents a “situation where I”m an innocent man.”

“The legal scholars looking at this case find it disgraceful,” he said, adding “this is a fraud on me.”

James is asking Engoron to fine Trump and his co-defendants over $370 million and impose a lifetime ban on Trump and two former company executives from the New York real estate industry.

Trump Responds As Jack Smith Brings Forth New Indictment

Former President Trump’s federal Jan. 6 case is headed back to a D.C. courtroom…

Lawyers are expected to enter a not guilty plea on behalf of former President Trump in federal court in Washington, D.C., Thursday related to charges from special counsel Jack Smith’s new indictment after the Supreme Court ruled a president is immune from prosecution for official acts in office.

Trump will not appear in court.

Judge Tanya Chutkan is planning to hold an arraignment on the new superseding indictment in the election subversion case.

According to a court filing obtained by Fox News, Trump signed an entry of not guilty plea. In the document, filed on Tuesday, Trump also waived his right to be present at his arraignment.

“I authorize my attorneys to enter a plea of not guilty on my behalf to each and every count of the superseding indictment, Doc. 226,” the document says. “I further state that I have received a copy of the superseding indictment and reviewed it with my counsel.”

The new indictment keeps the prior criminal charges but narrows and reframes the allegations against the Republican presidential nominee after a Supreme Court ruling that conferred broad immunity on former presidents.

Specifically, the indictment has been changed to remove allegations involving Department of Justice officials and other government officials. It clarifies Trump’s role as a candidate and makes clear the allegations regarding his conversations with then-Vice President Pence in his ceremonial role as president of the Senate.

The new indictment removes a section of the previous indictment that had accused Trump of trying to use the Justice Department to undo his 2020 loss.

Trump has been charged with conspiracy to defraud the United States, conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding, obstruction of and attempt to obstruct an official proceeding and conspiracy against rights. Those charges, to which Trump pleaded not guilty, remain.

The special counsel’s office said the updated indictment, filed in federal court in Washington, was issued by a grand jury that had not previously heard evidence in the case. The new grand jury has only heard this new information.

Sources familiar with the matter tell Fox News that discussions surrounding the superseding indictment will likely not speed things up, and it is unlikely it will go to trial before the November election.

DeSantis Discusses Pardoning Jan. 6 Defendants, Including Trump

Ron DeSantis has some big plans if elected President of the United States.

On Thursday, the Florida Governor said that if elected president he will consider pardoning all the Jan. 6 defendants — including former President Trump — on his first day in office.

“On day one, I will have folks that will get together and look at all these cases, who people are victims of weaponization or political targeting, and we will be aggressive in issuing pardons,” DeSantis said on “The Clay Travis & Buck Sexton Show” podcast when asked about whether he will consider pardoning Jan. 6 defendants, including Trump, who is currently facing a federal investigation over his role on Jan. 6.

“I would say any example of disfavored treatment based on politics, or weaponization would be included in that review, no matter how small or how big,” he added.

DeSantis also accused the Justice Department and the FBI of weaponizing its authority.

DeSantis also claimed that the FBI is targeting anti-abortion groups, as well as parents who want to attend school board meetings. He said that if elected, his administration would determine on a “case-by-case” basis if the government was weaponized against certain groups.

“We’re going to find examples where the government’s been weaponized against disfavored groups, and we will apply relief as appropriate, but it will be done on a case-by-case basis,” he said.

Trump Changes Plan For Fox News Debate

On Monday, former President Trump revealed Vice President Kamala Harris’ team told his campaign that she would not participate in a Fox News presidential debate on September 4.

The proposed debate would have been held in Pennsylvania and moderated by Fox News anchors Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum.

“I am not surprised by this development because I feel that she knows it is very difficult, at best, for her to defend her record setting Flip-Flopping on absolutely everything she once believed in, including her statements that THERE WILL BE NO FRACKING IN PENNSYLVANIA and her HORRIBLE Performance on the Border,” Trump wrote on his social media platform Truth Social.

Trump and Harris have both confirmed they would participate in a Sept. 10 debate on ABC News. Trump previously said he also agreed to an NBC News debate on Sept. 25.

The Harris campaign has said it would consider a second presidential debate in October. Both campaigns have also agreed to a vice presidential debate on CBS News on Oct. 1 between Minnesota Democratic Gov. Tim Walz and Ohio Republican Sen. J.D. Vance.

“Voters deserve to see the candidates for the highest office in the land share their competing visions for our future,” Harris’ campaign communications director Michael Tyler said in a statement last week. “The more they play games, the more insecure and unserious Trump and Vance reveal themselves to be to the American people. Those games end now.”

In place of the Fox News debate, Trump says he will participate in a town hall in Pennsylvania with Fox News host Sean Hannity.

“Rather than the debate on September 4th, I have agreed to do a Tele-Town Hall, anchored by Sean Hannity, for Fox. It will take place in the Great Commonwealth of Pennsylvania – Details to follow!” Trump posted on Truth Social.

Home Depot Founder, Mega GOP Donor Dead at 95

1

Bernie Marcus, the co-founder of Home Depot, has died at the age of 95.

Marcus, who grew up in New Jersey, was the youngest son of Russian immigrants and became a self-made billionaire with a net worth of over $11 billion, per Forbes, after founding the home improvement chain with Arthur Blank in 1978.

Marcus, a longtime donor to the Republican National Committee, according to federal election records, was an early supporter of former President Donald Trump.

In one of his last interviews in November 2023, Marcus spoke with FOX Business senior correspondent Charlie Gasparino in a wide-ranging interview in which he blasted President Biden’s economic policies for exacerbating the rise in prices that consumers are facing.

“I never anticipated anything like what we’re going through,” Marcus said of Biden at the time. “I wake up every morning and I say, ‘What is this dunce going to do today?’”

“He cut back drilling, he caused the inflation, the inflation caused every other problem for every businessman, for every American,” Marcus said. “And the people that he’s supposed to represent – the poor people, the middle class – they’re getting killed today.”

Former President Trump on Tuesday mourned the passing of the “legendary entrepreneur and political genius.”

“He was my supporter from the beginning and was always there when I needed help or advice. He strongly endorsed me for this election, as well as my other runs, and I will never forget him for that,” Trump posted on his social media site Truth Social.

Republicans Call For Biden’s Resignation After Bombshell Report

Joe Biden is in hot water once again…

Since special counsel Robert Hur released his report on the findings from his criminal investigation into Biden’s handling of classified material on Thursday Republicans have demanded answers.

The report said that even though Biden “willfully retained and disclosed classified materials after his vice presidency when he was a private citizen,” prosecutors concluded that “no criminal charges are warranted in this matter.”

However, perhaps even more shocking than the fact Biden will walk away with no charges the report highlighted extensive concerns about the President’s memory.

“Mr. Biden’s memory was significantly limited, both during his recorded interviews with the ghostwriter in 2017 [with whom he shared classified materials], and in his interview with our office in 2023,” the report said in its executive summary. “We have also considered that, at trial, Mr. Biden would likely present himself to a jury, as he did during our interview of him, as a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory.”

Prosecutors said that based on the way that Biden presents, jurors will “want to identify reasonable doubt” and that it would be “difficult to convince a jury that they should convict him — by then a former president well into his eighties — of a serious felony that requires a mental state of willfulness.”

The report sparked strong reactions from Republicans, many of whom said that he was not fit for office.

Trump Teases ‘Very Big Announcement’ on Nov. 15

During a Monday evening rally in Ohio, former President Trump declared he plans to make a “big announcement” next Tuesday.

“I’m going to be making a very big announcement on Tuesday, Nov. 15, at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Fla.,” Trump said toward the end of a rally near Dayton, Ohio, where he was campaigning for a host of candidates in the state, including Republican Senate candidate J.D. Vance, the night before the midterm elections.

“We want nothing to distract from the importance of tomorrow,” Trump said.

Previous reports indicated Trump was eyeing Nov.14th as the potential date he would make his presidential campaign announcement.

Trump’s latest message comes amid heightened anticipation that he’s planning to announce his third presidential campaign after Republicans re-take control of Congress.

Advisers in Trump’s inner circle have expressed their expectation that Trump wait to make the announcement until after the midterms but some early rumors indicated Trump strongly considered breaking the news Monday night while campaigning for Ohio Republican candidate J.D Vance.
