Trump Reignites Feud with McConnell Calling for His ‘Immediate’ Ouster

Donald Trump has reignited his feud with Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) once again calling for Republicans to oust him from the leadership position.

In a statement Wednesday, Trump described the Kentucky Republican as a “pawn” for Democrats and insisted Republicans should choose another lawmaker to lead.

“Mitch McConnell is not an Opposition Leader, he is a pawn for the Democrats to get whatever they want,” Trump said in his statement. “He is afraid of them, and will not do what has to be done. A new Republican Leader in the Senate should be picked immediately!”

The two Republicans previously enjoyed a friendly and professional relationship for much of Trump’s time in the White House however, the two broke ties after McConnell infamously turned on Trump following the Jan. 6th Capitol riot. Since then Trump has repeatedly attacked the Senator and called for his immediate ouster.

Trump’s most recent attack on McConnell follows comments last week made by the Senate Minority Leader regarding the “quality” of some Republican Senate candidates- many of whom were personally chosen and endorsed by the former president.

“I think there’s probably a greater likelihood the House flips than the Senate. Senate races are just different — they’re statewide, candidate quality has a lot to do with the outcome,” McConnell said.

In Wednesday’s statement, Trump accused McConnell of giving the “Radical Left the Trillions and Trillions of Dollars that they constantly DEMAND” and faulted him for failing to stop passage of the landmark tax, climate and healthcare law known as the Inflation Reduction Act.

Supreme Court Hands Special Counsel New Deadline In Trump Immunity Case

On Tuesday, the U.S. Supreme Court imposed a deadline for Special Counsel Jack Smith to respond to former President Trump’s request to keep his federal Jan. 6 trial on hold as he appeals his immunity claims.

In a brief order, the high court ordered Smith to respond by Tuesday, Feb. 20.

According to The Hill, Trump filed an emergency motion Monday urging the justices to block a lower ruling that he doesn’t have presidential immunity from the indictment, an argument that has enabled Trump to delay his trial date as the appeals process proceeds.

The Supreme Court’s forthcoming decision on Trump’s motion is poised to have outsized influence on whether the former president’s trial will take place before this year’s elections. The trial was originally scheduled for March 4 but was shelved as Trump appealed the immunity issue.

Smith has aimed to take Trump to trial quickly to avoid the possibility of Trump first returning to the White House and then pardoning himself or ordering his Justice Department to drop the case.

By next Tuesday, the special counsel will now have to respond to Trump’s latest tactic: requesting his trial be kept on hold until he can ask the full District of Columbia Circuit Court of Appeals to review his immunity claims, and then, if needed, the Supreme Court.

Trump is charged in the case with four federal felonies that accuse him of conspiring to subvert the 2020 election results. It is one of four criminal cases he faces. Trump has pleaded not guilty.

Texas Democrat Snaps on Biden Over Border

Even Democrats say it’s time for Biden to address the crisis at the border.

Texas Democrat Henry Cuellar strongly criticized the Biden administration’s lack of action at the border, especially as Title 42 is set to expire soon.

During an interview with CNN anchor Kaitlin Collins, Rep. Cuellar was asked what the effect of rescinding Title 42

The congressman responded bluntly, stating, “Communities are going to be overwhelmed, not only El Paso. We’ve seen that in the past with the Rio Grande Valley, we’ve seen it in Eagle Pass and Del Rio. They’re going to be overwhelmed. There are just not enough shelters and border processing centers to handle the large numbers of people.”

Cuellar insisted on treating migrants with compassion but was adamant that we “have to secure the border.” He said, “We can do two things at the same time. We can provide a compassionate way of treating the immigrants that are trying to come in. But at the same time we have to secure the border.”

He added, “Because the only thing the border control is doing is processing a lot of them to come into the U.S. and then returning some of them under Title 42. If Title 42 goes away, this is going to open up a large number of people coming to border communities.”

Cuellar urged the president to listen to people who understand the concerns of the local communities rather than just “immigration activists.” He said, “Look, it’s okay to listen to immigration activists. It’s okay to do that. That’s one perspective. But who is listening to the men and women in green and blue and more importantly, who is listening to our border communities?”

He continued, “I don’t know why they keep avoiding the border and saying there’s other things more important than visiting the border. If there’s a crisis, show up. Just show up!”

The lawmaker added, “Just showing up at the border would send a strong signal to the communities that he’s there, he cares about the border communities. Just show up. It doesn’t take much to just show up at the border.”

Michigan GOP Congress Members Unanimously Endorse Trump

The entire Michigan Republican delegation threw its support behind Donald Trump on Tuesday, a significant win for the White House contender.

GOP Reps. Tim Walberg, Bill Huizenga, John Moolenaar, Jack Bergman, Lisa McClain, and John James gave Trump their full support for the 2024 race.

“Under the Trump presidency, America was prosperous, the economy was strong, the world was a safer place, and Michiganders were better off. President Trump has proven he has the ability to deliver results on Day One and also the ability to win in key battleground states like Michigan, being the only Republican to win a Presidential race here since 1988,” Walberg, Moolenaar, Bergman, and McClain said in a joint statement released by Trump’s team.

James, a rising star in the Republican Party, praised Trump’s administration for helping middle-class families.

“President Biden has wrecked our economy, let our position as the sole world power slip, and opened our borders. Biden’s policies have been particularly detrimental to Michigan’s middle class,” James said. “Under President Trump on the other hand, inflation was at 2%, the American family was strengthened through the child tax credit and other pro-family policies, and our communities were more secure. In 2024, we need to give hope to Americans who feel like their government is failing them.”

Trump won Michigan in 2016, narrowly edging out Democrat Hillary Clinton by just over 10,000 votes. However, Trump lost the state to Joe Biden in 2020.

Biden DOJ Wants Even Harsher Sentences for Key Jan. 6 Rioters

ANALYSIS – First, let’s be clear. I was at the Capitol on January 6, 2021, as a security contractor for a foreign TV news crew. I witnessed the chaos firsthand and was not happy about it.

I strongly condemned those who violently rioted there in an article the very next day.

In my piece, I even said they should go to jail, just like any other violent rioters.

And they should. But Joe Biden’s DoJ isn’t content with ‘hard time’ for some of these rioters. They want a much longer time.

To also be clear, at the Capitol that day I saw tens of thousands of peaceful protesters before the riot. And saw many ‘rioters’ who weren’t violent.

Meanwhile, I have written about how many peaceful Jan. 6 protesters have been persecuted unfairly, and how harshly many violent rioters have been treated compared to equally violent Black Lives Matter (BLM) rioters.

Some of it is due to the Biden Department of Justice (DoJ) being hyper-political and overzealous, and part of it is the fact that these folks are getting tried and sentenced in the ‘People’s Republic of DC.’

When I first read of the case of Stewart Rhodes, head of the Oath Keepers, I thought he was one of the few who should get serious jail time. He and his gang were part of an organized, violent cadre that went to the Capitol to create violent chaos.

This is why they were charged and convicted of ‘seditious conspiracy’ – the only ones to be found guilty of that serious charge.

But when I heard he had gotten 18 years, I was floored. Child molesters get less time. Repeat violent offenders get less time. Even convicted spies sometimes get less time.

Eighteen years is a lot of time.

Even so, federal prosecutors are not satisfied with the severity of the jail terms delivered by the federal judge overseeing the case.

In the case of Rhodes, they wanted 25 years.

U.S. District Court Judge, and Barack Obama appointee, Amit Mehta sentenced Rhodes, and his colleagues, harshly due what he characterized as a dangerous criminal conspiracy aimed at violently derailing the transfer of presidential power.

But even if you believe these knuckleheads were intent on blocking the certification of the Electoral College vote, their chances of ‘derailing the transfer of presidential power’ two weeks later, on Jan 20, were little to none.

This is why Mehta’s sentences, while harsh, were still less than the prison terms prosecutors recommended and years below an agreed-upon “guidelines range” based upon their charges.

Of the others convicted of seditious conspiracy, Florida Oath Keeper leader Kelly Meggs received a 12-year term instead of the 21 DOJ wanted. Roberto Minuta of New York was sentenced to 4.5 years instead of 17. Joseph Hackett of Florida got a 3.5-year sentence; DOJ sought 12 years.

Ed Vallejo of Arizona was sentenced to 3-years, while DOJ wanted 17. And David Moerschel of Florida was sentenced to three years instead of the 10 DoJ wanted.

All of these are significant sentences in federal prison. A few might be deserved, but Biden’s DoJ isn’t happy with that. They want these folks to suffer even more.

If only DoJ was that zealous with other political crimes, and criminals, Hunter Biden might actually be in jail.

Liberal Influencer Triggers Intense Backlash Over Barron Trump Comments

            This is disturbing…

Mike Sington, a retired NBCUniversal senior executive who is now better known for his pro-liberal social media posts, commemorated Barron Trump’s 18th birthday on Wednesday with a sickening post on X.

“Barron Trump turns 18 today. He’s fair game now,” Sington wrote, sharing an image of him with his father.

Critics quickly attacked Sington for targeting Barron, who has largely stayed out of the public eye during and after the Trump presidency.

Sington deleted the post and walked back the comment but stopped short of offering an apology.

“I posted he was ‘fair game’ now, meaning, as an adult, he’s ‘fair game’ for criticism from the press,” Sington told Newsweek in a statement. “Someone pointed out to me ‘fair game’ could mean fair game to be harmed. I don’t wish physical harm on anyone, so I took it down. I listen to the comments and criticism I receive.”

The former NBC executive has repeatedly commented on the former President’s family as Trump navigates multiple high profile lawsuits.

Liberal Congresswoman’s Bodyguard Offers Bizarre Excuse Amidst Claims of Anti-Semitism

Liberal Congresswoman Cori Bush (D-MO) isn’t used to being in the spotlight but right now all eyes are on a member of her security team.

Bush’s bodyguard, Nathaniel Davis has invited backlash over his claims to be a master of psychic self-defense born 109 trillion years ago along with his anti-semitic comments. The Washington Free Beacon confirmed that Davis is in fact a St. Louis, Missouri, spiritual guru known as Aha Sen Piankhy who teaches classes on how to read minds, summon mythical beings, and maintain urban gardens “to avoid having to buy food from the Jews.”

Davis initially gained notoriety over his claim to host a number of supernatural abilities, including the ability to summon hurricanes, levitate, and retrieve winning lottery numbers “from the spirit realm.”

Nathaniel Davis demanded The Free Beacon retract a previous article in which the outlet detailed Davis’s connections with Bush and history of advancing anti-Semitic conspiracy theories.

Per the original report from The Free Beacon:

When Davis, who did not return requests for comment, is not protecting the congresswoman, he spends his time teaching St. Louis’s black community to grow their own food—so they can liberate themselves from a genocidal Jewish cabal that runs the world.

“I’m going come teach the people how to survive. It’s what I came to this planet for in this lifetime,” Davis said in a July 17, 2020, Facebook live stream. “I’m 109 trillion years old in this galaxy, the Milky Way galaxy.”

Davis has advanced a number of anti-Semitic conspiracy theories, including the belief that the Rothschild family “runs the Western Hemisphere” and unleashed the COVID-19 pandemic to murder 99 percent of the human population. Davis is also a proponent of QAnon, according to a Facebook post he shared in December 2018.

“You got the global elite looking to kill every last one of us. They want to wipe out half the population of the planet,” Davis said in a July 17, 2020, Facebook live stream.

However, despite Davis’s history of anti-Semitic comments, the bodyguard said it’s impossible for him to be anti-Semitic because he himself is a member of the Tribe of Issachar, one of the lost tribes of Israel.

“That makes me Hebrew. How can I be anti-Semitic?” Davis asked the Free Beacon, adding “You’re literally dealing with the priesthood, literally.”

“If you could retract the whole anti-Semite, because I’m not, man. I’m not,” Davis said. “I got bar mitzvah’ed in this city. There’s no way I can be anti-Semite. No way. You didn’t complete your homework.”

The bodyguard also asserted he never made any claims about the Rothschild family or promoted any anti-semitic conspiracies.

“I didn’t make any type of statement dogging anybody of any nationality or background,” Davis told the Free Beacon. “Didn’t do that. That’s not how I move.”

It’s not exactly clear how David came to work for the Congresswoman. However, a deep dive by The Free Beacon revealed the congresswoman’s personal Facebook page show that she is friends with “Aha Davis Zadok El,” one of Davis’s Facebook accounts. There, he claims to be a member of the “Priesthood of the Sun Moon Sect.” Davis’s various FacebookTwitter, and Instagram accounts are riddled with references to the “Priesthood of the Sun Moon Sect.”

Davis has earned over $137,000 providing “security services” for Bush since 2020, according to FEC filings, the latest of which showed disbursements of $5,000 in Dec. 2022.

Citing a “non-disclosure agreement,” Davis refused to comment on the “security services” he has provided to Bush.

“I can’t talk to you about that,” Davis said when pressed for details about his non-disclosure agreement.

The Free Beacon reported that Davis changed his story minutes later and denied ever mentioning a non-disclosure agreement, claiming it would be false to report that he did.

RFK Jr. Claims Trump Team Reached Out About VP Spot

Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said he would not accept the vice presidential spot on former President Donald Trump’s 2024 ticket, saying he’s already been approached by Trump’s team.

“I would not take that job,” Kennedy, 70, said in a recent interview with NewsNation. “I’m flattered that President Trump would offer to me, but it’s not something that I’m interested in.”

“People from the team have reached out to me,” he said.

Trump senior adviser Chris LaCivita rejected the claim that the Trump campaign approached Kennedy.

“This is 100% FAKE NEWS — NO ONE from the Trump Campaign ever approached RFK jr [or ever will] — one of the most LIBERAL and radical environmentalists in the country,” LaCivita posted to X. “For all the fake news — update your stories.”

Trump has previously hinted that he’s already made his decision on his next running mate but earlier this month told Fox News’s Bret Baier that he’s in no rush to reveal his choice.
